We let her have ice cream after dinner that she begged for, but then she wailed for 15 minutes because she was too full!

She didn't want to wear a jacket this morning!

"I'm never going to go to bed. My knee will hurt for 1 million years" after bumping his knee on the bed when he climbed in.

We just finished our threenager year, now mine is FOURteen drama!!

Ugh. Yes. So many snippets come to mind I can't think of just one.... And what's with the bad sleep lately?? LO (3.5) was always an excellent sleeper, but not so much lately. Wake ups in the middle of the night, up early, tough to settle at night

Pretty much any time you say no to his absurd requests he melts down crying. Crying will not get you your way.

Three is tough, and we're only a couple months in.

Where do I even begin? What about yesterday we were looking at houses with a realtor and we had our back turned for a minute and when we turned back around she had her socks, shoes, and pants off and was sitting on a really nice chair just hanging out like she was at home......

Or we went out to dinner and she's sobbing for a high chair because she doesn't want to sit in a normal chair and once we get her one and put her in she says, "I'm done with my food". (Without even taking a bite).

I'm not permitted to close the garage, go up the stairs, open the fridge or touch her without asking her first. If someone coughs or sneezes, they're yelled at for being noisy.
And is anyone else dealing with he constant 'why?' Or 'how come?' Phase??

Lately, we get yelled at for talking to each other in the car. She's also so full of sass. "H, where is XYZ?" "I don't know. Maybe I lost it," (said in the sassiest tone ever).

Ughhhh! My threenager is beyond sassy. She is demanding, and don't bother telling her no. It's like her brain doesn't compute that response- unless she's the one saying it

We had a pretty calm day today which was nice. The worst part was when he totally freaked out because I asked him to stay in an area by our car rather than playing in the middle of a parking lot. Of course this was less than a minute after someone commented how well behaved he was! Haha.
And first words out of his mouth this morning were "I can see you have a booger in your nose!" Lol that's some tact, kid.

G's newest response to requests is NEVER.

Where she learnt that from, I have no idea.

Oh! The new one is when I'm driving, when stopped for too long or whatever, LO yells, "Goooooo" with so much sass. Or if the light turns green and I'm still not moving (because of cars in front of me) he also tells Goooo, it's green!

Omg the attitude! He now likes to say, "I told you that ALREADY!" if we didn't hear what he said. And if we warn him about a consequence (i.e. if you do that again we will have to go home") he has been saying, "Then I guess I will have to push you into the ocean" or "I will put you in the garbage". And he has become so aggressive lately! like drive by aggression--running past us and smacking us on the leg as he goes by, playing nicely one minute and then hitting us the next.

@hellobeeboston: OMG my just turned 2 year old is like that in the car too! I can't even slow down or he starts yelling at me to "GOOOOOO!" Back seat drivers!

15 minute meltdown with tears because DH backed the car out of the garage without him in it. Mind you DH wasn't going anywhere, he was just moving the car to the driveway.

Sometimes when I can't ignore it I just look at him dumbfounded and say "really dude?"

Laughing reading these ... yet also terrified. My six month old, I swear, started spitting on purpose and then laughing because I said "Mom doesnt like that spitting!"

@avivoca: seriously!! DH and I can't have a conversation m without K yelling at us that we're ignoring her!

She started pinching me when she gets angry. It's an automatic time out for violence/hurting people, and she thinks it's so funny!
