What is your favorite source of cute tights?
I bought some dresses for my twin girls, and I realized that some of them are sized for cold weather. I never had to worry about this for my son!

Assuming you don't mean leggings, my favorite tights are from Jeffries. They are part pima cotton so very soft and are high quality. I like that they are also thick enough to feel like they are actually tights that provide warmth and not just glorified hose.

We also have some ribbed tights from the Boden BST site. They are cute and have withstood any piling from wash wear. This year's patterns aren't quite as versatile as previous year's.

Not that you asked, but I also do a lot of diaper covers / bloomer shorts with dresses and I have some solid leggings that I just keep in a drawer. The leggings are from Primary:

Back when we had winter, my DD had a lot of Gap patterned tights. I found they held up pretty well to washing and play.

@LBee: thanks! Leggings are probably fine too depending on the dress. I am new to baby girls clothes and don't really know what I am talking about

@ElbieKay: I edited to add that I also love the Boden tights! I'm still fairly new to the girl world, but everyone I talked to seemed to wholeheartedly endorse the Jeffries tights. I had some Carter brand ones and they were complete garbage. Rolled on her stomach, got horrible wash wear right away, and then finally ripped when my husband was putting them on one day.

I've mostly gotten ours at Target and Gymboree. But I have to say, I almost never put her in them. In the winter I feel bad and like she'll be cold if she doesn't have pants or leggings on. I'm usually only motivated to put them on her with a special occasion dress. But then, I had a boy first and even almost 2 years later this girl stuff still feels new to me!

I don't have a little girl, but a friend of mine uses a ton of leg warmers on her little girl. They cover her whole leg except for the foot, but they don't have to come off for diaper changes either.

Two daughters here. My favorite warm tights have been baby gap- cute, they hold up well (I bought a couple on the classifieds on here and used them for both my daughters and I could still hand them down), and importantly for me- they have grippies on the feet.
That said I almost never put them on my girls as babies. Just too annoying. I preferred leggings and socks most of the time under dresses when they were really little, until my older one started insisting on tights every day.

Boden tights are thick and awesome quality, but Baby Gap is cheaper. We did lots of leggings (Tea Collection & Boden) as well.
