i actually just did the same thing too...our anniversay is next month...and i heard with implanon you can pretty much get pregnant immediatly, not hold my hopes up but also thouhght it would be cute but if we get pregnant in June i would find out around Fathers day...hoping for a BFP in June....

I thought it'd be fun to be pregnant on April 1st. Haha. Ended up getting my BFP on 4/14 instead!

We just knew we wanted to get pregnant after a planned trip, we got pregnant on that trip, which was perfectly fine with us! No stress of charting and all that!

I tried to time my pregnancy around work. I had a three month window that would be most convenient. Well I ended up getting pregnant on the first try, but then quickly miscarrying. We had to skip the second month, and then got pregnant again on the first try (so the third month of my original window). I'm just over 9 weeks now and hoping this little bean sticks. I'm due around Thanksgiving so I'll be on maternity leave through the holidays which is a pretty quite time at work so really convenient.

We TTC for 8 months and got pregnant twice during that time, both early miscarriages. Both times I got really excited because the first time we could announce to our families around our birthdays (I planned it all out) and the second time we'd be announcing around Christmas (also all planned out). Both of those events were really hard to get through knowing how the timing "could have" worked out. I found that I couldn't really help thinking about those kinds of things though. I hope that you get your BFP quickly, telling your husband on your anniversary would be very very special

We planned for sure! IT didn't work out for us though, and soon when those events happened that we were sure we would be pregannt at, it was so hard for us.

We just found when we started trying was the time that worked best for us. We didn't plan it around anything. It was very low stress doing it that way. We got it right the second month.

It's not out of the realm of possibility - we officially started TTC in August, and 2 days before our mid-September wedding anniversary I had a BFP. But yeah, try not to get your hopes up. I definitely had the "this would be so great to give for an anniversary present" thoughts and probably would have been completely crushed if it hadn't magically worked out.
That said, if you want to boost your odds, you might want to consider using OPKs to help you time sex better.

The hubby and I are part of a friend's bridal party so we waited close enough to their wedding date so that if I got my BFP, I wouldn't be showing (too much) at her wedding. This is our first cycle of TTC, and we're hoping to conceive so that we can have a Dragon baby!! Here's to us having a sticky baby on the 1st cycle!!

We sort of did the second time. We had a family trip planned to Disney World at the end of Sept/first of Oct last year and waited until after that to ttc. I'm due Sept 16 of this year so looks like we got pregnant on the second month of trying after the trip.

We kind of did...one of the reasons we waited to start TTC is because I'm in a wedding in May, and it's in TX--I didn't want to be in my 3rd trimester and be unable to fly there. We also have a wedding in Sept, and I didn't want to be due that month so that we can attend the wedding. Now I'm due about a month after the Sept. wedding, so who knows--baby could decide to come a month early!

We tried to do the same. When we first started trying I was teaching and we wanted to make it where baby would be born after the next school year ended. I lost my job so it ended up not being important.
