So I am trying to make heads and tails of what is going on at the moment. I had a m/c last July where I found out at 10w the baby stopped growing at around 6w. This has been my first cycle ttc again since.
I got my last period on April 10th. My cycles usually run anywhere between 27-30 days. Really 28 or 29 days being the norm. I tested on CD27 with a wondfo and received a very faint positive (quite a squinter). I retested the next day (CD28) with a digital and got a BFP with a 1-2 week calculation. Super over the moon right.
So about 6 days later from my first digital I decided to retest with the wondfo to see if my line was way more visible, because it was a squiter. The line was considerable darker and way more visible. Two days later I retested with the digital, hoping to see the week calculation go up, and it came back NEGATIVE. Que nervous wreck. I ended up buying some FRER's and I retested afterwards, and the following morning and got very solid pink positive lines.
I called my doctor and went in yesterday to get blood work done (now about 9 days passed missed AF and BFP) and they said that my betas were low for someone who should be about 5 weeks along, they were more in lines of someone who is 4 weeks. So a week behind. The doctor said that either this cycle could be longer than usual and I ovulated later than I thought or it is a chemical pregnancy. Both of these things I have not experienced.
I have had zero spotting, but lots of off and on cm leakage and sore boobs. I am getting another blood work done tomorrow to see if my levels doubled like they are suppose to. If they do then all is good for now, but if they don't, well that's that.
Thoughts?? I've been reading a little bit about chemical pregnancies and it seems odd that I have yet to have any spotting. Plus, if I just avoided using ONE digital test then I would never have known.
Please help!
Hope the DRs. find some answers for you soon! Hugs
