@Littlebit7: With mine I had zero signs I was about to go into labor. I'm not sure if I was dilated because my OB doesn't check unless requested.

LO1 - 41+5, prodromal labour for the previous week but no dialation
LO2 - 40+1, no signs whatsoever. Not dialated at all -
@skinnycow: DD1 was born at exactly 40wks (4 hrs in labor), DD2 was born at 37W4D (1 hr labor mostly at home. Got to the hospital and had her 7 minutes after).

A - 39 weeks. 12 hours from water breaking to baby
K - 38w6d 4 hours from water breaking to baby.
There were no signs for either labour but I knew K would be early as I was going to be induced at 39 weeks either way due to medical issues for me. I was super happy he arrived on his own though

LO1: induced at 41 weeks, born 41+1
LO2: repeat c-section at 40+6I've never gone into labor naturally!
