It's a toss-up between our bedroom and family room. We spend all of our waking hours in our family room and love our bed so we really enjoy sleeping in our bedroom. Neither are painted, neither are well decorated but they're homey, just the way we like them (without having to do a lot of work).

During nice times of the year (Oct through March) it is my backyard. Other times of the year it is my bedroom. Lately it is the nursery/office/craft room, we spend a lot of time hanging out in there.

We just rearranged the furniture in our bedroom and I LOVE it now. It's a huge, long room (front to back of the house) so it's an awkward shape for furniture, especially the big set of master bedroom furniture we have. We rearranged so that basically the far half of the room has the bed and TV (and minifridge), and it gives Rob Sr. the windowsill and a bench to explode his mess onto (so it contains his messiness until he cleans it up about once a month). The other half has dressers on opposite walls, then has the bathroom and closet at the end... but the middle of the room is COMPLETELY open. This is awesome for Saturday mornings with RJ-- we bring his breakfast upstairs and he eats it while watching cartoons on our bed, then plays in the center of the room (usually swiffering our floor, score!) while we laze around in bed! I LOVE IT!

That's hard- I love all the rooms! Probably either the kitchen (yellow and green cabinets, very country chic) or the dining room, which has my egg plates all over the place.

My dining room is my favorite right now. We recently got some chairs to complete our dining set and have been spending a lot of time in there having dinners and playing games.

@Lovelife how did you do it yourself your couch? I want to know, that sounds great!
My favorite room is the pool room. We live in NYC which can be really gray and dreary in the winter. When we moved in the room was just a small (deepest end is 8') pool. We added a hot tub and a walk in feature to the pool so the kids can use it too. We have hotel style sun chairs all around and even a cute tiki bar. I had the ceiling done bright bluish so it looks like the sky but if you turn the lights down we have a ton of tiny recessed lights that you can turn on so it looks like stars! It's a great room

Definitely the kitchen. We remodeled our entire house before we moved in and I probably spent the most time designing the kitchen. It has a kind of industrial feel which I love. Dark gray walls, white cabinets, cement-colored counters (caesarstone), silver appliances and I added bright yellow accent touches (rug, oven mits, towels, wall art). I love going into the kitchen and just hanging out there. lol

@ecogirl: the couch is still a work in progress! -- hope it turns out the way I imagine it. so far we've used pallets and added legs. (we are currently looking for an old door to make the back board.) you finish by adding a twin bed with large pillows and a few throw pillows... (if you have pinterest, you should check them out!) and I love the sound of you room! I would love to finish the day relaxing in a hot tub!

@Lovelife that is the neatest thing I've ever heard! I'm going to check that out. I love the idea of an old door as the backrest! So interesting and really eclectic. It will probably end up looking like a really expensive art piece!
and Thank you! I swear every time I put my butt in the hot tub Liam comes in asking for something haha

Our family room. We spend a lot of time in it, especially during the winter since it's the only room with a fireplace (an antique wood burning oven). Our computer nook is adjacent to it and we usually eat dinner up here as well.
It has exposed beams so it can look really pretty if we focused mainly on doing it up, but right now this is our main living space so it's a mess, but very functional.

Our pool room had been blogged and I didn't even know! I'm disappointed that they didn't get the tiki hut or the glowing star lights in the ceiling but it's so nice that someone blogged it anyway!!

Our "office" which we more appropriately refer to as our workroom. It's where my husband and I pursue our respective creative endeavours, work (when we work from home) and surf the internet. We're turning the room into the nursery, which makes me sad, but we live in a two-bedroom condo and I guess sacrifices have to be made.
(room was blogged on personal blog: http://mothersdaughters.ca/)
@ecochic: I can't you believe you have a pool room- it's gorgeous! I want to be your best friend.
