Was it super heavy?
Mine started with spotting on Saturday, then yesterday is was normal-ish (a few small clots, but nothing major), but then this morning it looked like a war zone. (That's the TMI part). I'm also cramping more than I usually do during AF.
I'm just making sure I'm not weird, lol. Or dying.

Yes! Mine were heavy pre pregnancy but have nothing on PP. and unfortunately every month has been the same. No real cramps to speak off..but war zone is a good term. Or a scene from Dexter! Bahaha.

I was breastfeeding so I gradually eased into it. A friend of mine that didn't BF said it came on horribly strong too.

I was nursing and on Mirena so it was super light. The first period post Mirena was a doozy though

YES! I have only had 2 so for but ya, war zone is a good description. And my first one I had really bad cramps, some felt as bad as some of my contractions did! I am holding out hope that it will get better.

@Dandelion: yeah.. i'm on month 7! well..LO is 7 months now, my first PP period was when she was 6 weeks old. So I'm too tired to do the math, lol, but here's hoping it'll stop soon!
i did notice with each month, it's one day less every month of the crime-scene-type. lol.

@sorrycharlie: 6 weeks and you are ebf? That's crazy! When you say one day less, how long did it last the first one?

@Dandelion: every month they're about 5-7 days (totally sucks). but the first period was hellish the entire time..tapered off on the last day. each one became more normal than the last. the last period I had a couple weeks ago was only 2 days of "hellish" and then a more normal/light flow, if that helps?

Mine just started Friday. Before LO, they were always 3-4 days, pretty light, with horrible cramps. This one has been really heavy on the second day with cramps like implantation cramping. The flow has already eased up a lot.

super duper duper heavy. i've had 3 since having olive, and they are the heaviest they have been in my entire life. i am thinking about going on the pill just to regulate them!

So, update to this:
I started my second cycle on Saturday and it was normal...nothing like the first one.
The weirdest thing is that before pregnancy, my cycles were about 42 days. However, this one was a perfect 28 day cycle. I wonder if this pattern will continue. If so, it'll make TTC a lot easier.
