Am I the only one dying to get pregnant but knowing it's too soon for my family? I have two kids. One age two and the other is 9 mos. idk why but I just wanna be pregnant again. Anyone else feel like this?

This happened to me after DS #1 turned 8 or 9 months...I think it is the golden age! I didn't necessarily want another baby right away but I felt like I NEEDED to be pregnant. I blame it on weird hormones. I just hope it doesn't happen again this time cause I need a little more space between 2 and 3!

Yep! I've pretty much felt this way since my DD was a month old! She's 8 months now and we would ideally like them 2-2.5 years apart, so not too much longer to wait! I go back and forth on wanting another ASAP but also wanting to enjoy every moment with my daughter as an only child. We just renewed our health benefits at my job and I did not get a pregnancy-friendly plan, so that will keep us motivated to not get pregnant! We'd also like to be in a bigger house before the next one arrives and we aren't quite ready to make that purchase yet.
The whole "baby fever" thing is such a new concept for me because I didn't really have any burning desire to have children before I got pregnant with DD!

@lilyann: 8 months was how old DD was when I found out I was pregnant with DS. Now DS is 9 months and for some reason I wanna be pregnant again. I think I miss them being newborns. But at the same time as wanting another I don't because my two are slightly overwhelming. Lol. Idk I'm so mixed up and I hate it. Stupid hormones

@catomd00: I never had the desire to get pregnant before DD either. Now it's like an aching. I got the Nexplanon place to prevent pregnancy. Part of it is killing me inside but when it has to be removed in 3 years we will be more ready for another.

Yes! I'd like to start trying this cycle, but my husband is not on board with that.

@littleblessings: Kinda. LO #1 is 13 months and we are planning for a 3yr age gap...so not looking to start trying for at least another year. I am mostly fine with that...but there is definitely a part of me that wants to get on with it.

This has been me for at least a year. The time is finally coming up to try again but we still want to wait just a little longer and sometimes it kills me!

Oh yeah. I'm wanting #2 NOW, but my husband wants to wait to try until the spring. At least he's ready, just not until later. It's harder every time I hear a friend has a second or announces a pregnancy. My two closest friends who were pregnant as the same time as me for our 2.5 year old have both had second children, and it hurts.
