Cool! That is interesting. Can I maybe ask a stupid question - what are your intentions with having a leader board? Is it to encourage people to post more so they can see their names on the leader board or is it something else?

Yes, I just don't want people writing silly comments in order to get on the leader board. Like on other sites where people start being stupid and posting "I'm first" and have nothing else to say. Hopefully that won't happen here!! I guess I am feeling protective. 
More of a concern for when the site goes public, not right now of course.

If people start posting FIRST just to increase their post count, then we would delete their comments!
We have used the leaderboard on some other sites, and haven't run into that problem yet tho. If it became a problem here and we couldn't manage it, we would definitely disable the leaderboard module...

That FIRST phenomenon seems to be a mostly male thing... and mostly on sites without an active admin.
Given that, I am hopeful that we should be ok!

@Mrbee: It's like in elementary school when the teacher posts who has the most __________ and the kids go nuts with competition. I like it!
