I have to be in DC for a few hours for work Monday morning, so we are turning it into a mini family Father's Day getaway. We're all driving down early Sunday morning and will do some sightseeing and then come back Monday afternoon. Any suggestions for good DC activities for a toddler (2 1/2)? I haven't been there since pre-kids, so don't really know what would be fun. Thanks.

We're just entering the toddler activity stage, but friends love the building museum and Yards Park splash pad. There are paddle boats on the Tidal Basin, the carousel on the mall, the Smithsonian has some cool exhibits (animals and such). There's also a really cool new park in Rosedale, but you probably won't get the best impression of DC if you go there :).
