I'm generally pretty laid back about the need for Dr visits, but this one is freaking me out - waiting for a call back from L's Ped.
Monday night I noticed L was kind of limping - it was hard to tell. She's a weird kid and she had a particularly bulky CD on.
Last night it looked like she was definitely limping - no idea why. Called her daycare provider to see if she noticed it, and she said she thought so, but again mentioned that L is kind of goofy so she couldn't be sure. At this point I'm now pretty positive that she is limping. But, why??
This morning, I'm changing her diaper, and on her hip bone I notice 3 small *things* on her hip bone (under her skin) that are moving around. Kind of pea-sized, but jagged and not uniform in shape. Bone, cartilage, pockets of fluid?!?! I have no idea. They were moving around freely, and didn't appear to cause L any pain at all. I called DH in to take a look too, and he agreed that it's weird. L finally started to fuss at us, but we had been poking her and leaving her on the changing pad for a long time!
Anyone ever notice anything like this? Google is useless and I'm anxiously waiting to hear back from her Dr! If she had been in any sort of pain (or had a fever or other symptom) I would have taken her right in, but she seems totally fine besides the small limp and random objects on her hip bone
I hope it's the weather too - I like to blame it for everything else anyway
