When did you start using a pillow for LO? Is it bad for her to use a pillow at 20 months? What if it was a very flat adult sized pillow?
If your LO uses a pillow which one is it?
Does it matter if it's firm or medium (soft)?

LO doesn't use one in her crib but I'm going to buy one for her cot at daycare.

I gave J a pillow shortly after his first birthday (he's going to be 2 next week).
He never uses it. It's just a small flat pillow (it's actually a "sleep sheep" pillow).

LO doesn't have a pillow at 15-16 months old, but uses his toddler blanket as one. It's an A&A one, so it's breathable.

I gave C a pillow around 12+ months because I noticed he'd try to pillow his head on blankets or his lovey. I had a heck of a time finding a toddler pillow in latex foam so I just gave him a standard size pillow and it has been fine. He really likes having a pillow. We use Simmons Beautyrest Talalay latex foam pillows.

We gave my DS a pillow at 26 month because he was trying to sleep on a teeny tiny one that was meant to be decorative. I got it at pottery barn (it's called toddler size) but they sell that size elsewhere. It's kind of like a 3/4 size. DD I think got a full size pillow at that age because she was sleeping in a twin bed by age 2.

My kids use small pillows that my mom made. They are 16 months now and have had them since a year. They are a little smaller than a placemat, and relatively flat, 2-3 inches high with loose batting. Flannel on one side and regular cotton on the other. They are still in cribs. They typically fall asleep on them and then they shuffle around the rest of the night. I think it does sometimes help them get cozy again when they stir in the middle of a sleep.

Lol so my mom bought LO a toddler comforter set before I was even pregnant. I just opened it up to look at it and there's a toddler pillow in there! Washing the pillow cover now; problem solved.

DD's been using a flat king sized pillow since she was... 18 months old?

I think they make breathable ones if that is a concern
