Its raining here after a huge snow dump. Needless to say, its very WET. Today I sent DS (3 yrs old) to preschool in his winter boots. As we near melting-snow-and-springtime-weather, should I invest in a pair of rain boots? I was checking out some pairs on Zappos but was surprised at how expensive they are - $25 on the low end to as high as $78.
If you bought rain boots, were they worth it?

We live in the PNW where it rains often so she wears her rain boots quite a bit. She has a pair of Hunters first gloss and a cheaper hello kitty pair we got at Costco awhile back (I think they were around $20). The HK ones have held up really well!

I splurged on hunters for Olive and they are her favorite shoes. We have gotten a ton of wear out of them with all the rain and snow.
You can get cute ones on daily deal sites too if you look out for them. Toddlers loooove rainboots. Charlie has had a pair since he was 2!

I have been thinking about it since puddle splashing is his favorite outdoor activity. His snow boots can't repel that much water so his feet end up soaked.

Liam got a pair for Christmas (I got them on amazon for around $25 I think) and he wears them when playing outside almost every single say, rain or shine. He LOVES them. I was just thinking that I'll need to get him a size up soon!

We're in the Seattle area so we get a lot of rainy weather. I like letting her run around outside and a lot of times the grass is still wet from the other day and it would soak/stain her regular shoes...so the rain shoes are definitely a necessity for us

We didn't buy a pair, but then were lucky and my aunt bought her a pair of Hunters for Christmas. Now only if I had a pair of Hunters for myself...

I have a cheap pair of fireman style rainboots for my son that I think are from walmart that he loves! He wears them all the time with the Melissa and Doug fireman dress up outfit. I don't think the quality really matters since they will out grow them before they wear out, but I do want to splurge on a pair of Hunters for my daughter:)

I've always had then for my son. We live in a city and don't have a car so we walk everywhere, even when it rains. I also hate when he ruins regular shoes in rain/puddles, so I would rather him wear rainboots.

Yes. Target has cute cheap ones. They lasted from birthday 2 to 3 yrs birthday and still going.
