We pared down our toy collection after Christmas and now LO is getting really bored with the same toys he's been seeing for several months. Alright I'll admit it, I'm getting bored too. What did your not-yet-walking LO like at that age?

Nothing. He is 11 months and plays with anything that is not a toy. He will play with a ball for a bit. But that's about IT!

Toy Hammers - he loved hitting things with them (xylophone) and chewing on them

I remember having trouble finding things to interest our little guy around then. If I recall correctly he liked:
B Parum Drum
IKEA bead maze thing
Little people bus and farm
Music table
Zany zoo

He really gets a ton of use out of the fisher price laugh and learn house (got it around 8m and still going strong), and the vtech walker and learning table were really popular at that age. He also really liked these stackable cup things: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000LSZVJQ/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_awP4ub02VFRV6

Blocks, megablocks and a fisher price tea set (it talks and sings) and my pal violet (also talks and sings).

Music table! She loved the baby Einstein one we had. And I think that was when she started to love putting things in other things and taking hem back out, so anything like that.

Balls, Zany zoo, FP Laugh and Learn house and kitchen. At 12 months, he loves the fisher price learning table and a Melissa and Doug caterpillar tunnel.

LO is 13 months and for the last few months her favorite toys have consistently been her little electronic piano that has four keys, and her Fisher Price learning chair. She also liked her play remote, play keys, and play cell phone, all Fisher Price--found them cheap on consignment.

We love Little People! I just got him the newest Little People barn from Fisher Price's online store. He also loves the Fisher Price stacking rings and his Zany Zoo. Oh and the vtech sit to stand walker. (And I said I didn't want to have very many toys! Ha!)

So the DK noisy peekaboo books are MORE than a hit with my now 14 month old. But she's loved them since about 10 months. I literally read the same book to her 10 times a day and she just laughs and laughs and laughs. We have two variations (the dog one and the lion one).

Blocks, ball pit, activity table, crawling toys, touch & feel or lift the flap books... She also started to get into baby dolls & pretending to take care of them (feeding/hair brushing/putting to sleep) around 11-12 months.

Dd is 10.5 mos and looooves blocks maybe more than anything--knocking down towers I make and banging them together. Also noisemaking toys like bells. And we have a zany zoo and vtech walker that keep her very busy. At daycare she's obsessed with the water/sand table or whatever other sensory table they have set up that day

I'll second what @Mrs. Champagne: said - B ignored his toys and played with anything that wasn't a toy - dishes, rocks, pencils, big piles of laundry The only toy he liked was a ball we rolled back and forth. I guess it's some kind of transition stage between liking baby toys and toys for older kids!
