LO is currently obsessed with the dog's tail and always trys to put it in her mouth.
What is your LO's favorite toy that isn't really a toy?

The remote control! She loved it, especially when she was little. We ended up buying her a toy remote control because she loved it so much.

The remote or my cell phone. Basically anything BUT her toys.

The xbox controller. We ended up giving him an old one that we don't use but he knows it's not the same. He'd rather play with the one that Daddy plays with!

Remotes (and any electronic device) and the dog's dish. She's obsessed with the dog dish - we had to block the kitchen off so she would leave it alone.

Her new obsessions: toes, dog bones, pack n play mesh, table legs and board book bindings!

@BabyBoecksMom: doesn't every child?! My nanny mom was quite intentional about teaching her son that the dog bowls are off limits from the time he was able to comprehend discipline... around 9 months. He'd get a light smack on the hand every time... he is nearly 18 months old and still obsessed with it so gross.

Lo not here yet but from what I know and what I've seen: plastic Tupperware is a huuuuuuge hit. Kids are funny:)

My LO is also too little - 13 wks - but his latest obsession is his left hand. It's far more exciting than any toy these days

@Coco Bee: LOL! Usually the bowl is empty but DH freaked out yesterday because she managed to get a piece of dog food in her mouth. She acted like it was the best tasting thing she ever had and got super upset when we took it out. I couldn't help but laugh at the whole situation.

No LO here yet, but my 3 nieces all under 2 all love the door on our dog kennel that's in the living room. They swing it open and then close, for hours! haha

My nephew LOVED our dog's crate when he was about 2 1/2 (thought it was his own private playroom-we have a giant dog). DD loves remote controls but thinks they are phones.
