Our LO is 9.5 weeks and has been sleeping in his RnP every night since our 2nd night home from the hospital and for most of his naps. We need to transition him to the crib soon, but we're terrified!

I think we've got ourselves into a little pickle because we have one of the auto RnPs and now he only sleeps while it's rocking - he'll wake up when it stops rocking. Also, at night I nurse him before bed which pretty much puts him to sleep (or super drowsy), and for him to take a nap, we have to rock him in our arms a bit to get him super drowsy or lightly asleep.

So basically he only sleeps after being nursed to sleep, or after being rocked by us, and will only stay asleep if the rocker is on. We swaddle him for all sleep, and in the past, on a flat surface he's been able to roll onto his side while in the swaddle - so that presents another complication for the crib.

Does anyone have advice on how to make this transition easier?
