We're on night 2 of our 3 month old sleeping in his crib in his room. Before that he's done really well at night in the arms reach cosleeper that we use as a bassinet right next to the bed. He just seems too big for it now and he's been rolling on his side. I started by putting him in the crib for one then two naps all last week and he did pretty well.

Well, at night LO went from sleeping 6 hours at a stretch back to 2-3. When he wakes up he does this little screech (he just learned how to make some petty ear-piercing noises!) and kicks and flails, so it seems like he's nowhere near falling back asleep on his own. I'll get up and nurse him back to sleep.

So I don't know if this is par for the crib transition course, if he's hitting his 4 month sleep regression early, or if I messed with a good thing by transitioning him too early. Either way I'm exhausted like the newborn days!

When did you make the move? How'd it go for you?
