Has anyone taken a long flight in your 3rd trimester? I'm talking a 4+ hour flight. How did it affect you? Did you find yourself becoming more uncomfortable while flying or did it not affect you at all?

i never traveled in my third trimester but i would recommend getting compression stockings (my ob did when I flew during my first trimester and they're generally good for pregnant women's swollen legs), and walking around a lot during the flight.

I'd also check and make sure that you know what the airline policy is, after a certain number of weeks, it is up to the airline to decide if they let you on board. I cancelled a trip because I would be 36 weeks on the return, and according to the airline, that was the cut off. I can't remember the airline though.

Nope I never hear that too... but I agree on the walking. My legs were shot and I was only 21 weeks pregnant.
