We have a family wedding to attend the end of next month. My twins will be 4 months at that point. The wedding is several states away and my husband dislikes flying and doesn't want to fly with babies. So we are looking at a 14 hour trip (plus all the stops) over 3 days to get to/from the wedding. I currently EBF. The babies have taken bottles but not in over a month. The original plan was that I would pump while in the passenger seat and we would stop to feed the babies.

I'm starting to think that we are crazy to think this could work and pricing out plane tickets thinking that the shorter amount of time would be less trying on all of us.

Are we nuts to think we can drive - be away from home and their cribs for a week?

If you've done a trip like this - any tips? Any tips on bottle cleaning? Bottle warming? Entertaining babies stuck in car seats?

We plan to rent a minivan - so presumably I can sit between them.....or next to them if one is in the 2nd row and the other in the 3rd.
