Friends of ours have nexus passes — he works for an American company, but are Canadian and live in Canada. Her parents live right on the border in Canada, so they often drop their son off with her parents and go over for a weekend, or she and their son will stay with her parents while he goes to the states to drop in at the office. They say it's great — but everyone in the vehicle has to have one, or you can't use the nexus line.

We live in a border town, DH still works in Canada and his whole family lives there. I'd say as a family, we're there at least once every 2 weeks. We applied for a NEXUS for DS as soon as we got his Social Security number. It's just easier for all of us to be able to use the Nexus lane.

However, at our border crossing, it doesn't usually save a TON of time, because they way it's built, everyone lines up in one long line and you're only able to cut into the NEXUS lane near the end.

yes! we do, as do my parents. I'm trying to get my in laws to get it, too - because if it saves you a 1-2 hour border wait in each direction, it's already paid for itself in one trip.
