For the past six (yes, that's right! SIX!) weeks I have been holding LO for naps. She was waking up as soon as I would put her down. First, it was holding and cradling her, but lately it's really been her almost laying flat across my lap sometimes. I can get up and move, but my hands are still not free. I decided last week that I can't do this anymore. I need my hands! She's 12 weeks as of yesterday.

@Mrs. Jacks post got me thinking about getting better about her naps. We usually do white noise and have black out shades in our bedroom where she is sleeping now at night (although not in her nursery where we hope to move her soon the shades are not as powerful).

I'm in the bedroom with her now after putting down the shades and turning on our machine, and she seems to be knocked out. My only worry now is that she will be confused between day and night even though she is now 12 weeks. Is that possible? Is she going to sleep all day and not at night? Clearly, slightly worried FTM here. Sigh...

Thanks for any insight you might have.
