Still here! CD5 today, I have decided we will be doing SMEP even if it kills us this month
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@katieleigh_82: I'm still here! CD24. Took a test today (8DPO). Stark white bfn. Hoping to test again in a few days!
@Snowdrop: SMEP seems to have some great results! I was about 90% faithful to it this month, FX it works for us both!
pear / 1846 posts
@Crystal: 8dpo is too early for a BFP so FC you see something soon!
I have actually started to get some slightly fertile cm today CD6!! We can't BD tonight so plan is to start SMEP on Sunday. I started getting clear cm really early last month too which was my first on vitex but then I messed it all up with those prescription anti inflamatories so it doesn't surprise me too much that I'm seeing it now.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Snowdrop: good thing you are checking for it! It will be interesting to see how your body responds without those meds throwing you off

@Crystal: I love how much warning it gives me that I am approaching O. I used to have lots of sticky, a few days of creamy and then clear which gradually gets more plentiful before going int the serious Oing cm. This cycle and last I have had my creamy whilst still spotting, doesn't give much rest from BD but I hate waiting for O as much as the TWW so I don't mind
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Snowdrop: all the waiting is awful!
I've never tracked my cm before- this is making me much more aware of what is going on in my body! I'm enjoying learning about it!

@Crystal: Waiting is awful. Today is 9DPO and every time I feel the slightest bit of CM, I think it's my period, and I get anxious every time I go to the bathroom. AF is due Wednesday or Thursday. DH might have off work Thursday, so hopefully will get to see him then. If so and AF hasn't come, I will probably test then. If I don't see him, I will wait until I see him Friday.
I just got back from Vegas late afternoon and feel so behind. I am finally caught up on mail, but still some laundry to do and lots of things on the to do list, so feeling a little stressed.
Hope everyone has a good Monday!
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: I think we are on the same cycle- I keep running to the bathroom too. I am 10DPO today, and AF due thurs if I have a 14 day luteal period.
How long does DH have to work out of town? You are troopers to put up with all of that!
Did you figure out the temping situation?
nectarine / 2192 posts
@Crystal: Not that I would wish TTC 6+ months on anyone, it is so nice to know that not only do you ladies get it, but someone is going through it at the same time. DH has been doing this for 2.5 years, but only 9 weeks to go. He thinks that is part of the TTC delay, but we have managed to hit most cycles fine, just stressful.
As far as temping, I am not sure how the time zones will affect it, but I am just charting as usual, since there isn't anything else I can do. I am feeling so anxious in the mornings when I take my temp. If it's below 98, I end up in tears.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: I am hopeful your temps will be up!
I so agree that knowing there are other people here going through the same things makes this so much easier. I love all the help and support, and the truly genuine happiness we feel for each other when we have good news.

Hi ladies glad everyone is doing well, as of today I'm 7DPO, on CD 20 so I have about a week left of waiting this month. I'm so excited but nervous for all of us, I can't wait for some BFPS to show up on this thread. On a side note, not sure were you all live but if you're lucky enough (insert sarcasm here) to live somewhere freezing like me (Michigan) are you over all this cold and snow, cause I sure as hell am!!
nectarine / 2192 posts
@katieleigh_82: I'm in Ohio and 6-10 inches of snow is supposed to come tomorrow/Wednesday. I used to HATE it, but since I got an awesome car for snow and ice, it's only mildly annoying. I would love spring to come so I can go running. (I'm a fair weather runner.)
cherry / 173 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: I need a more snow friendly vehicle, my next one will for sure be AWD or have 4x4 capability! Yeah we're expecting more snow tomorrow here as well. While I hate it, our dogs are LOVING it and I have to constantly fight them to come in the house! I attached a pic of one of them from a couple weeks ago when we had far less snow than we do now
nectarine / 2192 posts
@katieleigh_82: Beautiful dog! I drive a Subaru Impreza which I LOVE. I am a little concerned about fitting kids in it, but we are generally minimalists. DH thinks it will fit 1 kid, but that I will need a new car when #2 arrives.
Where is everyone else from? Is anyone else dealing with lots of snow?
cherry / 173 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: thanks that's Lily she's 11, & DH as a 3 year old bouvier that he brought into the marriage and thankfully they get along great! Yeah I drive a Camry, not the best for snow, but also not the worst. When I was younger I had a camaro and boy was that a blast to drive in the snow...NOT lol
pear / 1846 posts
@katieleigh_82: gorgeous dog! My dog loves the snow too but we have had a strangely mild winter thus year. Normally we have a fair bit as we live up in the pennines.

Temp dropped below cover line. I feel devastated. 10 cycles and nothing. Ovulating consistently on day 14-15, normal labs. DH and I have no risk factors for infertility. Why is this not happening?
pear / 1846 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: so sorry to hear this! It's kind of worse when there seems to be no explanation, nothing to focus on and nothing to fix. Sending you lots of hugs

Copying this from the POAS board, not sure what to feel now because just found loads of watery CM but feeling completely unmotivated to BD after this news:
Just been to my doctors, have been booked in for a further scan as I thought but have also been told that under the local guidelines, if DH's SA comes out fine and if I have another blood test and it shows ovulation this time, I will be diagnosed with unexplained infertility (despite my high prolactin, short luteal phase and very light period) they will not make a referral for unexplained fertility until 18-24months. Before that point they only treat PCOS or an ovulation.
Feeling really upset but we have work men in laying carpets so I'm going to ave to hold it together till they have gone!
cherry / 173 posts
@Snowdrop: so sorry to hear that, I know it's hard but keep your head up and keep on BDing. Big hugs sent your way

I am totally confused. For a few days before I start I am very weepy and have sore breasts. Other than being very upset over not being pregnant, I am in a better mood than usual as long as I think of something else, and no breast soreness. I am having LOTs of CM. I read an implantation dip can be below the coverline and as late as 12 DPO. Am I being delusional? I have been feeling that this was the cycle the past 3 months with my crazy jury duty theory and all.
cherry / 173 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: unfortunately I haven't taken the plunge on temping yet so I don't really know anything about it. I also have not actually tracked my CM so I'm not much help there either. I am hoping and praying that your not being delusional and that this is your month!

I'm a bit late to the party, but I'd like to join!
Decade (Age: 20s/30s/ect): 20's
Cycle #: 26
Did you spend any time NTNP? How long? Yes, just came from taking a couple months off, I've taken a couple other breaks over the years.
Have you had any BFPs? Yes, 2
How long is your usual cycle? 29 days
Conception Tools (OPKs, ect.): charting aps, energy kinisiolgy, herbal tea.
Fertility Aids/Medications: none really
Do you track 2WW symptoms?: I do, but my body likes to trick me into thinking I'm pregnant then come at my with the ol' AF. I don't trust symptoms anymore.
How do you stay positive? I've tried to occupy my time with other things, putting energy into work and traveling. I'm trying to enjoy being DINKS!
CD: 20
POAS date: I didn't "try" this month, but I plan to next month!

Thanks @ameliabedilia I hope a BFP for you as well! DH and I are headed to Vegas for Valentines day, I'm in the mood for some pineapple buffets after reading your posts!
nectarine / 2192 posts
@LalaYes: Where are you staying? Best time to go to the buffets is late breakfast- cheapest and then the lunch food comes out shortly. Ceasar's buffet was the best. Paris is great, too. Skip the Flamingo buffet. Tickets for tonight sells show tickets at a discount. Now I want to go back!

@Snowdrop: I'm so sorry, friend. How many cycles is this?
@AmeliaBedilia: it ain't over til it's over! At least I keep telling myself that, so I'm holding out hope!
@LalaYes: welcome! I hope your stay here is short.
nectarine / 2192 posts
@Crystal: Thanks. Anxious to see what my temp is tomorrow. Still feel the same- bizarre. DH says not to put too much stock in my temp with sleep issues, time zone, travel, etc.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: your DH is right- all of that can mess with temps! And it likely could be late implantation.
nectarine / 2192 posts
Temp up slightly above cover line this morning. Still not weepy, still no breast tenderness, still no AF. Limbo.
pear / 1846 posts
@Crystal: only 7 but i know there is something wrong with my cycles and dont understand why id have try two yrs and then go on to something as extreme as IVF straight away!
@AmeliaBedilia: I live in the north of England. We dont get much choice in our care! Have you tested?
nectarine / 2192 posts
@Snowdrop: That makes sense. I have not tested. DH and I agreed we would only test when we are together. He probably has tomorrow off, so might come home tonight weather permitting. We had a huge snow/ice storm, but DH will drive in almost anything.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: FX for testing! Limbo sucks, but since at symptoms aren't there, that's a good sign!!!
@Snowdrop: that's a great point. It just surprises me that after 7 cycles they immediately jump to unexplained infertility, and aren't willing to help at all. Remind me- are you temping?
Still a stark white bfn this morning. I am getting so sad. I know I'm not out til I'm out; but I just want a baby so badly it hurts.
pear / 1846 posts
@Crystal: they haven't jumped to unexplained yet because I still might get pregnant within the year, it's only after a year that that will apply. They basically would have helped if I wasn't ovulating or if I had PCOS but they don't count the fact my progesterone levels barely showed ovulation, my LP s short, I have high prolactin and a 1 day period as a problem. Apparently user the funding it is just natural variation!
Yeah I do temp, but not every cycle as the temp dips upset me and I am pretty accurate at identifying O anyway.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Snowdrop: That is infuriating! Those are issues they need to address! Can you get a new dr?
grapefruit / 4028 posts
I just started getting some dark CM. I'm on CD12, and have had stark white BFNs, so I am out of all hope.
I. am. devastated.
Its our first month trying since the MC, and only the second full cycle since it happened. We had great timing, but I knew it was unlikely it would happen, as my body is still getting back to normal.
I just want a baby so badly. I am so jealous of everyone around me who seems to get pregnant so easily, or who has cute little cuddly babies at home.
We originally planned on having 4 kids, but with all this difficulty, I would give *anything* to just have one.
I'm sure its the hormones talking and I am not exactly being rational, but goodness I want a baby.
I just needed to commiserate somewhere.

Thanks @ameliabadelia we stay at South Point, it's a few miles south of the strip.
@crystal sorry for your frustrations! I know how you feel. Sorry for your loss! Take it easy on yourself this month! Have a nice treat.
@snowdrop my midwife has the same one year policy.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@LalaYes: @AmeliaBedilia: thanks. Sometimes you just need to cry it out. I love that all of you ladies can understand why I'm so sad and how much having a baby means to me.
