@delight: merry Xmas to you too! Hope it's as smooth as can be possible.
Hope all the ladies on here survive the next few days & if possible, can enjoy some nice vino as well! I just had the awkward phone call of declining an invite from family who have zero interest in us through the rest of year. Feels good

@mrsjd: that's great that liking (or not hating) clomid so far. I read in tcoyf that it can dry up your fertile cm, so, wonderful that it isn't doing that for you.
@Shantuck: just thinking about you how are you doing, lady?

@delight: so glad to hear that you're taking steps to figure everything out--but YES hoping you get knocked up this month so you don't have to time does keep slipping away, and it's so frustrating. Merry Christmas/happy Hanukkah anyway, everyone.
Ps @Nutella: so awesome to dismiss yourself from bullshit. Very happy for you about this! I saw my SIL last night and didn't say a word about her pregnancy and sort of busied myself in the kitchen to avoid interaction. Still kind of pissed at her for the totally insensitive way she told me and has been acting. Meh

@LCTBQE: I'm sorry she has been so insensitive - that sucks balls! Especially as it's not like you can avoid each other in the near future. But wishing you blessings of the festive season - cheersing to you over Moët & a cheesy Xmas movies on Xmas day in Australia

@LCTBQE: pS: there was this HONY post a while back about a lady who had a mc & felt it was really hard that she hated how she didn't talk to people about it, but still expected people to understand. Not saying that's your situation but it made me realise i'm not alone in feeling like I generally don't want to talk to anyone!

@Nutella: glad you got out of that! Hope you had a good christmas.
@LCTBQE: sorry abt your SIL. I have similar issues but more from my bil. It's annoying.
I'm too lazy to go back to the previous page to tag you ladies, but I hope you all had a good holiday - or at least survived.
My update - had ultrasound last week where radiologist found possible gestational sack and inconclusive for yolk sac. Cue dr concern abt possible ectopic or blighted ovum. Got called back In bc dr thought he saw yolk sac when looked at ultrasound himself. He thinks things look ok for how early I am but going back again this week. I posted abt this but my progesterone was just under 11. I'm on suppositories, which means the levels in my uterus are higher. I'm still a little freaked out that my body isn't producing much on its own and that it might just be a bad egg. Hoping I'm not setting myself up for another late miscarriage but trying to stay positive. Any experiences with this one?
persimmon / 1045 posts
@Zbug: no experience here but sending good vibes! I don't think it's the norm to even get your p tested here as they are so hAnds off in early pregnancy (in my experience), so I imagine many people would just hang in unknown limbo until the early scan...hopefully all comes to light next appointment! Sorry for not being very helpful.

@Zbug: No experience but sending you all kinds of good thoughts.

@Nutella: thanks for the warm x-mas wishes and the kindness hope you guys had a sunny holiday down there--so happy that it sounds like you did what you wanted to and relaxed (I hope!) instead of doing what people expected. also was wondering about you--are you in the tww yet this cycle?
I realize I sound ridiculous complaining about my SIL when I am technically pregnant, I just don't trust this--don't feel any better off than I did a few weeks ago. I think I could let my guard down if I had some symptoms and a couple of good doctor's appointments, but that seems like another planet right now.
@Zbug: also no experience with this specifically, but I hope so, so much that your doctor is right and this week will give you a great scan. totally understand your concern--I would be worried, too--but I looked at your other post and the everyone seemed very positive, especially keeping in mind your comment that the number is likely much higher in your uterus than in the blood draw. when is your next appointment?
PS, if they saw the gestational sac in your uterus, then it's definitely not ectopic, right?

@LCTBQE: somewhere in the tww. trying to be unattached! Praying it is a good one for us! But also trying not to hope. How are you doing? When's your next appointment?

@Zbug: thinking of you and hope everything turns out well. On my first scan with my DD they only saw the sac and I was freaking out, but when I went back everything was fine. @LCTBQE: Hope you're hanging in there too. The first few weeks are so hard and seem to go by so slowly. It's ok to complain about your SIL! We get it
I'm in my first tww since the mc. Feeling quite nervous. I have a big bottle of progesterone that the doc gave to us at our appointment but I'm a little weary of taking it without any blood test first. I've also heard side effects can be bad. However, I'll do anything to make our next babe stick so I'll prob start it tonight.

@JoJoGirl: Good luck at your ultrasound! I get so scared of them too. Really hoping everything is fine for you!
@Nutella: @delight: Good luck to you ladies! I'm in the 2ww too and it's tough!
I'm 11 dpo and was hoping to know one way or another about this cycle by now (I have an 11 day luteal) but still stuck in a limbo of no AF and no bfp. I thought this morning's test might be the squintiest squinter ever but I might also just be seeing things.

@JoJoGirl: Omg, you do? Wow this might end up being real...I thought it was in my head.

@JoJoGirl: Haha, you are cracking me up. And giving me hope! Thank you!

@catlady: I can't see it but I'm just looking on my phone. Will you do another tomorrow if there's still no sign of your period? Exciting!!
nectarine / 2461 posts
@Nutella: I am personally struggling with being unattached but full of hope for you this time! When is your period due? Are you still going to wait for it like you've been doing, or will you test this time? My appt is next Monday, my OB scheduled it for 6w4d, so I'll know one way or the other zen face. Totally unattached.
@delight: all my fingers crossed for you, too have you had low progesterone in past pregnancies that needed a boost, or is this totally preemptive and based only on the fact that you've had the losses?
pomelo / 5326 posts
@LCTBQE: I have never had my P checked before. I told him how my LP is only 10 days max and I spot a few days before so he thought P might help me sustain a pregnancy. I honestly thought in Ontario that doctors didn't do the whole "progesterone thing" so I accepted gratefully. Then I asked him for some Clomid too and he laughed and said that I shouldn't get too ahead of myself! I always thought in the back of my mind that P would have helped me so we shall see what happens.

@catlady eek hope this is it! Lots of us in the tww. Let's get outta here ASAP! I mean, you are all lovely, awesome gals but i would prefer talking to y'all on a due date board
@nutella good luck Thursday! I would be so nervous too. Whatever happened has happened so try to be zen

My phone just deleted all my tags, but thanks ladies!
@catlady: what!? Pee again!!! Fingers crossed for you!

@LibbyLou: "Whatever happened has happened so try to be zen " --thank you so much, lady, I needed to hear that right now!
@delight: oh, sounds like you're in a good spot to try it--hope that it does its progesteroney thing and the side effects are minimal. I would have asked for the clomid too

@JoJoGirl: Yes, I just did! We were right, there was something there. I got an actual line today! However it is still soooo faint. I don't think either I or DH really believe that it's real yet. I'll probably keep testing and hope that the line gets darker soon.

@LCTBQE: You have an ultrasound on Monday?? I think we are exactly the same amount along! Are you going to join the August moms thread?
nectarine / 2461 posts
@JoJoGirl: I'm behind you, I think--I'm 6w today. I've been HEAVILY stalking the august moms board but not joining unless I get a good scan.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@LCTBQE: I probably should've done the same. By LMP I'll be 7w tomorrow but I'm pretty sure I know what day I conceived so am actually 6w3d. Here's hoping to good scans for both of us!

@catlady: congratulations!!
I'm crossing my fingers for all of you!
nectarine / 2461 posts
@JoJoGirl: I think it's great that you joined! I'm just too shell-shocked right now and didn't want to bring all my baggage into the land of sunshine where everyone is optimistic LMP dates are crap--so glad I charted, because by that date I'd be 7.5 weeks and freaking out even more than I already am. so excited for good news from you tomorrow
