@MrsDragon: hmm, still crossing my fingers for you. keep us posted. PS, are wondfos as sensitive as FRERs??

Cross posting - sorry if you see it more than once!
Okay - so results are in!
The sneaky 12dpo blood test I had done last week, I only found out about just now - it was 28, progesterone 15. Today... it is 286, progesterone 30!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my gosh!

@jaguar: OMG!!!#^&!U@!! what is your doubling time woman, like 3 hours?! your progesterone is sailing!
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@LCTBQE: 3 haha!
Progesterone is HEAVILY supported though, as this was an artificial FET. It's actually meant to be 30+ so I'm JUST scraping in.

So, we aren't hard core trying right now. I just don't have the emotional energy. But, we did DTD 3 days before O. That's good enough for a shot, right? TWW begins today....I'm going to try and make it a TWW for once, and not an 8 day wait I don't see the RE until 3/22, first available appt.

@jaguar: Yay! Keeping everything crossed for you but this is looking good!

I'm still a little confused about my chart this month but Fertility Friend seems to think I ovulated on cycle day 18 so I'll take it. Perhaps the progesterone lingering in my system did make the follicular phase temps higher than norm and I'm not on herbs from my acupuncturist this month because we're trying to let my body regulate so that might be part of it, too. I'm going to stop worrying about it...

@winniebee: lots of luck to you!!
No period today, Wondfo still looked blank to me soooo I'm guessing tomorrow? At this point I would welcome it so that I can get the show on the road, haha! If it's not tomorrow then something weird is going on.

@MrsDragon: Aw, sorry to hear. This happened to me last week. I thought I saw a shimmer of something on a FRER but literally nothing on a wondfo. AF was one day late so I wasn't sure but then it showed up. Hope you have better luck!

@MrsDragon: so frustrating. limbo is such an annoying place to be.

Thanks ladies. I'm 99.9% sure I'm out -- it was a hugely long shot to start with!
@Shantuck: 11 or 12 now (guessing 11?)

@MrsDragon: I've had a few late AF cycles lately and they are a royal pain in the butt during the tww! Hope that's not the case for you though

Stillll waiting. I didn't test this morning because I see no point -- but I did complain to my husband that it is super unfair that I have to feel like a crampy awful sick person for a week and then bleed for another one.

Well my NIPT (genetic screening) wasn't good. Doing a cvs to confirm, but it's 99% certain. We will probably terminate in a week or two. Looks like I'm back here again.

@Zbug: No. No. No. It can't be. I really really hope they are wrong.

@Zbug: I can't even find the words. I am so so sorry. Really hoping there's been a mistake. Thinking of you.

@winniebee: I double checked my chart -- guessing tomorrow? I thought I was late today but then when I went back and looked, a 29 day cycle would put AF at tomorrow.

@Zbug: Oh, no. I am so, so sorry. Sending you all the love. I can't even imagine.
nectarine / 2461 posts
@Zbug: no no no no no. How can they be so sure?? I am so sad reading this and hope it isn't what they think. Much, much love to you.
persimmon / 1355 posts
@winniebee: @MrsDragon: @LCTBQE: thanks, ladies. It's the harmony test, which is much more accurate than the normal screening tests. It's extemely unlikely that it's wrong.

@Zbug: I'm so sorry you are going through this. This breaks my heart. How can life be so unfair?! Sending hugs and prayers as I cannot imagine that this is an easy decision.

@Zbug: Somebody on one of the infertility boards mentioned a podcast called "Beat Infertility" and I've been listening to it while commuting. The one I listened to this morning was a story about a woman who screened positive for trisomy 18 with one of the blood screenings. They did an amnio, which confirmed the screening results, and she ultimately ended the pregnancy. To the extent it would be helpful to hear the podcast with this woman's story, I'm happy to share the details on where to find it, etc.
Again, I really hope this isn't what is happening to you... Hugs.

@Zbug: That is so unfair. My heart is breaking for you. Sending you lots of love and strength -- we're here for you.

@Zbug: Also, the podcast thing said that those screenings can have false positives when nothing is wrong and it recommended doing an amnio or a cvs to confirm. I'm no expert but just wanted to offer that in case it was at all helpful.
persimmon / 1355 posts
@Shantuck: doing cvs to confirm, but it's basically just a formality. Thank you
pomegranate / 3764 posts
@Zbug: What trisomy did they find, hun? Our first miscarriage had T21, which is why we lost him - but that was before our results had come back, so the choice was taken from us. I am here anytime if you need to talk.

@Zbug: Oh shit! Not really on the boards as much these days but had to say I'm so so sorry to hear this - I can't imagine how you're feeling. I was excited for you as one of the stories of hope on here sending lots of good thoughts your way. Sorry

@Zbug: oh I am so so sorry. This is an awful situation to be in. We went through it last year. Everyone kept telling me that the tests could be wrong and I remember spending countless hours googling everything. In the end the NIPT was correct and we did terminate. I wish I could give you a big hug. My heart breaks for anyone that experiences this. There are a few of us here that have walked in your shoes, so even though you may feel alone, know that you aren't. I am thinking of you and sending you love and support.
