It's SO cold, I almost didn't take a shower this morning because I hate the moment when you get out!

I haven't brushed my hair all day. It's in a disheveled lump that was a bun.

I made plans to go to my parents this weekend so me and the kids would be out of the house so DH could install a new floor in our living room. We are no longer doing the floor but I refuse to adjust the plans so that DH can go with us because I honestly don't want him to come but can't bring myself to tell him that. We've been having some issues and I just want to get away/let my parents baby me which won't happen with him there.

E was being a cranky, crying POS this morning, and woke me up super duper early so I was in a cranky mood as well. When he went down for his second nap I took us both to bed and napped with him. For 2.5 hours. We just woke up, moods reset, and it is glorious (also, holy cow my kid never naps for 2.5 hours!)
ETA: I haven't brushed my hair since Sunday...I've left in in pigtail braids so I won't have to bother with it.

I'm trying to eat healthy, but added about a pound of cheese to my eggs for lunch.
Also, very hungover and it's Tuesday. WOOPS!

@FutureMrsMcK: I did the same...We don't Cosleep bc it scares me, but I woke up this morning nauseated, lightheaded, shaky, and scared to death I picked up some terrible illness while I'm caring for H completely alone for 3 weeks while DH is away. I couldn't even function so I propped her in the Boppy right next to me and we slept 4 more hours in our bed and now I feel normal! So we started our day at like 1pm...Whatevs.

I just scheduled my first dentist appointment since being pregnant/having my daughter...it's been 14 months, I've never went longer than 6 months between cleanings...whoops!

I've drank more coffee than water today.

And also, I haven't washed my hair since Friday. And I bathe H every day, but don't have time to bathe myself every day. Oh well, when DH gets home Jan 31, my hygiene will improve when I can actually hand her off to him!

I know my SIL was shopping for my shower gift today, and I totally just looked at the registry. And said really?!?? When I saw it lists a onesie that says I love my Aunt. I hate the words all over the onesies and it was $15 online! I need a tub, sheets, diapers, wipes, etc not some onesie that isn't cute.

@princessbaby: thanks, we are pretty sure that some of the problems are related to my newly determined PPD which I will be starting meds for very soon (darn insurance requires use of mail-in pharmacy so I won't have them for about a week)

@purrpletulips: insurance is the devil...My sister is on anti-seizure meds and her ins just pulled the same crap with her. There are certain meds, like yours and hers, that they should understand are immediately necessary and shouldn't be delayed. I hope they come fast and help fast. My heart goes out to you:)

I didn't take a shower till noon. LO had a fever so I stayed home. I'm also considering quitting my job, I think I've got DH almost convinced it's the right move.

Confession: Im 5 weeks post partum and lost the weight i gained during pregnancy but cant bring myself to try on my old pants. Im scared they wont fit. I just wear sweats, pjs and maternity pants.
Except not that im not pregnant the maternity pants keep fallin down.@Running Elley: I showered at noon and then put my pjs back on!

- I bailed on a walk with my sister because I'm feeling lazy. but blamed it on the baby growing inside me.
-I had leftovers for lunch, plan on having the same leftovers for supper tonight, and again tomorrow for lunch. Poor DH. -
Still in my pjs, haven't left the couch, don't want to even know how many mini kit kats I have eaten, and spent the whole morning watching snookie and jwoww ??!!

i ate entire bag of muddy buddies/puppy chow/monkey munch/whatever you call it by myself between yesterday and today. the hubs didn't even know it was in the house.
and, i'm NOT pregnant.

I took great pleasure in the fact that my class sang happy birthday to me not once, not twice, but three times today. It also snowed today and we live in a place that doesn't see regular snow normally, so everyone kept telling me that it must be because of my birthday. I agreed.

We're meant to be eating paleo/whole foods at the moment and I just ate two ferrero rocher chocolates for dessert. Delicious... Je ne regrette rien!
