Well, what they actually said was, that the results were inconclusive.
DS is 25 months. He had ear tubes put in last year at 13 months. His one year check up was today and one tube has fallen out. Our doctor was not very concerned about that.
BUT he didnt pass the hearing test component of the visit and has to go back in six weeks to do it again. My spouse took him so I wasnt there to ask 248623 questions.
What could this mean? Scarring from ear infections??
Has this happened to anyone else's toddler?
PS His speech is fine and age appropriate (as far as I know).
if that’s the case I wouldn’t worry, we finally got a accurate test when they let her wear headphones to do the test and did a game v what they had been trying before which was playing sounds and trying to get her to look that direction
as long as you feel like your son hears you well and is making progress with speech I wouldn’t stress and just go back for a follow up whenever they recommend.
