@Modern Daisy: We're pretty much in the same boat. I started BC at 14 after only having my period for a year, so I don't remember my natural cycle at all. My period went MIA for a few months, hence the BC. I was on it for about 8 years with no breaks at all (I know, I'm a youngin- almost 23 ha :))

@Lilteacherbee - oh wow, that is very similar to my situation! It's so nice to know someone else is going through the same thing. Good luck to you - I hope we both have luck soon! Although I'm not really in a rush - I'm a BM in my friends wedding in January and it's across the country - so that means I'm hoping to be only in my first or second trimester at that point.

@Modern Daisy: Welcome! I recognize you from wb (I'm under a different username!) that sucks about your cycles. I didn't know my normal coming off the pill either. First cycle was 35, then 46, 46, then a lovely 58, and then I got pregnant, mc'd, and now it seems I'm having around a 33 day cycle. What a crap shoot. I hope yours regulates soon!!!!

@SSLM, thank you! I know, there are a lot of WB peeps on here, it's great. I am so sorry to hear about your MC
I hope your cycles regulate soon and you get a BFP!

@photojane: Thank you dear!
I'm hopeful but at the same time just in the mind set to wait on AF.
DH and I talked last night and we are going to continue with digital OPK's next cycle if we do move on.
Just going to keep on keeping on lol

Edited for TMI:
BFN as expected this morning and the mammo and u/s were completely normal - thank goodness!!!!!
Now we can just work on fixing the stenosis.
Edit again: AF arrived. Booo. LP is still pretty short, 10 or 11 days.

@JoJoGirl: haha so funny! Glad your mammogram was normal!! I know the stenosis diagnosis sucks, but at least you know there's a problem and there's a way to fix it!! I hope you get your BFP very soon!!
@Crisark: Good luck!

@JoJoGirl: Boo on BFN. Glad that the u/s and mammo were normal. I hope you get a fast fix on the stenosis
@Modern Daisy: I hope your cycles get their act together fast for you!

@JoJoGirl: Boo on the arrival of Diablo, but raise the roof on the u/s and mammogram being normal.

@JoJoGirl: I'm glad that the mammo went well this morning! Hopefully the BFN was just because it was too early to test!!
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@PBandBaseball: @Alivoo01: @Smurfette: @lilteacherbee: Thanks all!!! Is it weird part of me wonders if Diablo is "spotting" and I'll test again tomorrow if she doesn't come full-force? Am I COMPLETELY delusional?

@JoJoGirl: sooooo glad the us and mammo were normal!!! Sorry about the bfn and AF though
apricot / 367 posts
@JoJoGirl: No you are very thorough and there is nothing wrong with that!! I am sorry if it really is Diablo though!! But I'm happy that your mammo and u/s were good! Once you get that stenosis fixed, hopefully those swimmers will have full access and get to where they want to go! Did the doctor say what kind of timeline you would be looking at for that?
grapefruit / 4703 posts
@JoJoGirl: Silly question, but if your cervix is open enough for AF to come through, isn't that enough for some swimmers to go up? Hopeful thinking
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@mrsdoily: THANKS! And timeline, I'm not sure - he said if this month's Diablo has 'symptoms consistent with stenosis' (which I'll get to in a sec), to call him asap and we'll schedule it.
@Rachel: Not silly at all - good question! The deal with our cervix is it opens during O and closes again, but not all the way so Diablo can still get through. Mine was more closed than it should have been, and the kicker for diagnosis was the symptoms during Diablo, which are: REALLY bad cramps for a couple of hours, followed by a huge rush of blood with lots of clots in it. That happens because the opening is too small, so there is pressure on the cervix and the blood backs up and clots before it finally pushes its way out. This is exactly what happened during May's Diablo, which is why he thinks I need to have it corrected. Today I've had some 'old looking' (sorry! TMI!) Diablo come through but no cramps and no big rush yet, so I'm still not sure what's going on - if it's Diablo or spotting, if it's normal Diablo, if I should still test, if I should call him, etc. I'm sure it will becoming obvious soon enough

@JoJoGirl: Well boo for AF, but I'm super happy that you are ok and that the stenosis is fixable.

@Modern Daisy: welcome, welcome! This is the best place to wait it out!
@JoJoGirl: I second what @Alivoo01: said!
So, is anyone on this thread not charting or using OPKs? I feel so alone!
apricot / 367 posts
@Mrs. Blue: We aren't. Granted, this is our first cycle, but I'm so type-A and anxious that I'm afraid to start because it would probably just cause me undue stress. Plus I'm one of those women who can feel when they ovulate and from which side, so I have that to tell me when we need to do the BD!
In other news, I am 5 dpo and some kind of weird things have started to happen. I'm suuuupppperr tired, I've been crampy and gassy the last few days, and today I have started to get some weird discharge. My boobs haven't changed at all. What do y'all thing...could they be implantation symptoms?
cantaloupe / 6164 posts
@mrsdoily: it's possible! the crazy fatigue didn't hit me until yesterday, but early on in my tww i did experience weird discharge (white/thick) and crampiness.
apricot / 367 posts
@photojane: I'm glad to know I'm not completely cray-cray then!! I keep second guessing anything different as maybe it's in my head and not to get hopeful! I would love to get pregnant first cycle out of the gate, but I've had three miscarriages in the past, so even then I will be on pins and needles!
cantaloupe / 6164 posts
@mrsdoily: you're not cray cray! i tested like 5 times during my tww because i felt like something was going on in there.
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
So I am 4 dpo... my boobs are getting more sore, but it's too early for pregnancy symptoms. The first week of the TWW sucks!!! Even though we're busy, time is really crawling slowly. I know I shouldn't complain because waiting to O is FAR worse. This whole process sucks... lol.
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@Mrs. Blue: Do you have ovulation signs? I can usually tell by ewcm, so I don't really need to chart, but since I mc'd I have really felt a strong urge to feel like I am doing *something* to help.
cantaloupe / 6164 posts
@JoJoGirl: just saw that diablo stopped by... boooo! here's to a july baby!
@sslm: only a week or so 'til you can test! not too bad.
apricot / 367 posts
@sslm: Thank you!! It sounds like we are both around the same cycle. I thought I was going to test on the 16th, but my o came earlier. I'm 5 dpo and I'm going nuts!! My previous pregnancies I didn't know about them until I miscarried, but now that I'm looking for the signs, it's driving me bananas! This TWW is also driving me bonkers. Hopefully your sore boobs is a sign that the hormones are going wild in a good way! Fingers crossed for you!
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
@mrsdoily: Those symptoms sound promising!! Eeeep!
@sslm: I'm 5 DPO and after last month's disappointing results, I'm trying extremely hard not to read too much into my body signals. I've had random bouts of cramping and bloat, which are the same as last month, but last month was a BFN. Oi vey. Hang in there!!
blogger / pomelo / 5361 posts
@sslm: yeah, I do, and my cycles are pretty consistent. So, I know within a day or two of when I'll ovulate. It actually makese more relaxed when I'm not charting, which is why I stopped.
apricot / 367 posts
@Alivoo01: I hope so!! I'm sprinkling lots of baby dust for you! Hopefully the signs will result in a BFP for you!
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@Mrs. Blue: that makes sense. I probably won't chart every cycle but since my body is out of whack it was nice to confirm O!
honeydew / 7589 posts
So today was 8dpo, and I had some pretty sharp pains, kind of like cramps but not. They lasted about a minute and then went away.
Could that have been implantation cramping?
blogger / pomelo / 5361 posts
@Arden: I have no idea what implantation cramps feel like, but that does sound promising!
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
@Arden: No clue but I am hoping it is! I am 11 DPO today and I had a lot of cramping this week. No sign of AF yet. Fingers crossed for both of us!!
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
Well apparently I was wrong, started spotting just now. I hate this. So depressing.
cantaloupe / 6164 posts
@Smurfette: could it be implantation bleeding? or is it for sure diablo?
