Well I'm out. AF showed two days early. Onto cycle 8. I guess it's time to call the fertility clinic to start the blood work and schedule the HSG.
@grace: sorry you're out. Hugs. Even though it didn't feel like this was my cycle, it still sucks to see AF.

Well I'm out too, AF showed this AM. I had been staying away from the boards because last month I was driving myself crazy and felt maybe if I tried to keep myself busy I'd have better luck. Guess not

Omg you guys! My temp shot up this morning, and I had a dip on Monday so I am thinking that's when I ovulated but I'll have to see what tomorrow's temp does. When does FF give you crosshairs??

Agree it's time for some BFPs - I'm up next, oh boy! I'm 99% sure I'm out this month though due to the news from the doc this week so part of me wants off the list altogether
but I'll hang in there. I am either 9 or 10dpo today, not sure. I might not even test at all and wait for Diablo but realistically I'll probably still test Friday if she hasn't arrived by then.

@sslm: Yay, so exciting!! FF doesn't give crosshairs until three consecutive days of raised temps. So Friday you should see crosshairs put up for yesterday.

Basically he has no idea what it is so I'm having a mammogram and ultrasound on Friday (I'm only 34 so have never had either). Then as an added fun bonus, he did a regular exam and my cervix is pretty much closed (a condition called stenosis), making BFPs close to impossible, but I can have that fixed next month after Diablo arrives. He said it's *possible* to still get KU with it because they are small, but they'll have to be strong swimmers! Keeping my expectations in check for this month though. I had a pap in December and all was clear for TTC so this is a recent and frustrating development. Thanks for the good wishes and hooray for your o!!

weird though, shouldn't your cervix be closed after ovulation anyways? I thought it was closed between o and AF. So yours is more closed than it should be? @Adira: Thanks! I just feel like I o'd on Monday. Here's my chart. It's the dip and the ewcm making me think Monday.

@sslm: Hmmmmm... fascinating question. It was so closed he couldn't even do a test (apparently there is some bacteria called ureaplasma that can cause infertility that he was testing for) - like couldn't get his little q tip in there, which I guess is unusual any time of the month? Huh. Off to Dr. Google...

@sslm: Yes, I agree with you, it certainly looks like that! FF may not notice until Friday though because yesterday's temps are in the normal pre-O range for you and it wasn't until today that they really spiked, but I think you're right, that you ovulated on Monday. Welcome to the TWW!

@JoJoGirl: Oh bummer! I'm sorry to hear about your luck! It sounds like your Doctor is saying your cervix is more closed than normal. I think normally there's a bit of a peep-hole going on or something when it's "closed" and maybe he's saying yours doesn't have that? But it's good that that's easy to fix! And hopefully your mammogram comes back clear! *hug*

@Adira: Yeah that must be it, he was definitely concerned about it being closed, but said not to panic (haha.....). Maybe I shouldn't completely lose hope it was more open right before O. Either way I'm keeping my expectations down for this cycle.
