Oh I'm sorry but I just had to laugh. When your pants split that must be a sign that baby will be here soon!!

I am soo sorry that happened, but honestly, your post made me laugh really hard. I am right there with you on being over it and I can only imagine my reaction if that happened to me! All those people that try to make pregnancy seem lovely & glamourous are delusional or dang lucky.

@aprk: I'm sorry!!! You poor thing! If it makes you feel any better, I had a meltdown about a week before I delivered... I was trying to get dressed and couldn't find anything to put on... all my pants were too tight. My family was staying with me, and in tears and a towel, I stuck my head out into the hall, saw my dad and sobbed, "I need [my sister]". My sister came sprinting upstairs and very compassionately helped me find an outfit that fit. It may or may not have included yoga pants.

That's funny that your husband's immediate though was that you pooped your pants. I have to tell you, I had an unfortunte side effect from delivery called "gas incontinence" or something like that... basically I couldn't help from farting. My husband thought is was hilarious and said he hoped it never went away. Luckily for me, it did!

Cry, then laugh, then buy yourself a new pair of pants. You're so close! Treat yourself well.

I am sorry!! One week till due date and all my pants are getting tight on me too. I just want to wear yoga pants, only work wouldn't approve!

Yoga pants are all that have fit the last month-you aren't alone! And my yoga pants are looking awfully shoddy after nonstop wear for almost 8 months. DH says they look so gross. I'm sure the seams were just worn out!

I'm sorry to tell you DH and I were both in tears laughing at this earlier today, especially the part about your husband thinking you'd pooped your pants This is so going to be me!
