We have house guests that have a 15 month old who woke up throwing up this morning. I feel really bad for their LO, but I am pretty much quarantining my 10 week old in our bedroom. I do not want a sick baby. Ugh.

Clorox wipes are your friend! I was not so lucky, lo got a cold, bacterial infection and rsv by the time he was 4 months because my sitter has a child in kindergarten. No good!
it will be ok! Just wash hands and sanitize! And if lo gets sick, lots of fluids. Our ped gave the ok for pedialyte while lo was sick. We BF but it was nice to give him something with extra electrolytes

I don't blame you! Do you have more than one bathroom? If you and DH can use a separate bathroom from your guests and make sure neither of you handles the house guest LO's vomit or poop you'll reduce the risk of spreading germs. Bleach bleach bleach!!!

@mamadee - good idea on the wipes, I pretty much want to wipe down the whole house!
@irunforfun - we do have our own bathroom, thank goodness, though their LO threw up in the kitchen this morning.

Everyone (ahem, the sick child's parents) needs to keep washing their hands! And I'd keep them away from the kitchen and use a separate bathroom if possible. Ten weeks is so little.
And yes, clorox wipes!!

I agree with frequent hand washing but have ask them to only use a specific bathroom. You don't want them touching the kitchen sink and then it spreads.

oh no! that is stressful. i think it might be hard to control what your houseguests touch, so just wash your hands A LOT and don't touch your face! same for DH. i assume you and DH are the only ones touching your baby? once they leave, clorox your entire house. good luck!
