So Xander's next well visit isn't until December, but after our ER visit last night, I've realized he's only gained 0.5 lbs in almost 2 months! That's not good, right???

I'm sure it's fine...doesnt weight gain slow as babies get older? How are his diapers? He's eating...I'm sure he's great!

Has he became mobile lately? P lost a pound instead of gaining when he became mobile.

How old is he? At 4 months breastfed babies tend to slow down in growth. Then again when they get moving a lot more. My ftt baby literally stopped growing AND had bad stools.

O definitely slowed down as she got older!

He's 8 months. He has been pretty steady around 15% for weight, but with this current measurement, he's down to 9%.
He's not SUPER mobile - he rolls a lot, but no crawling or anything like that yet.

I wouldn't worry...my Lo dropped down to 9th percentile (from 16th) at last visit but the pedi wasn't concerned! You know his much milk he's getting due to bottles right? If anything, mauve try to add high fat solids (banana, avocado, cheese).

@hilsy85: Thanks for the advice! I'm curious if our pediatrician will be concerned or not. I'll have to try giving him more fatty solids, though he still doesn't eat a ton of solids!

LO didn't gain more than a lb from 6 - 8 months. Dr said it was normal since she started crawling and standing during that time.

I wouldn't worry about it! I think it just slows down at this age.

Don't stress mama! It's normal for weight gain to slow! Even if it's mostly rolling he's definitely burning more calories playing these days!

Growth slows down. LO was 17 lbs at 7 months and she was almost 20lbs at one year!
