Just a vent I guess. I started a new job in April so I don't feel like I should get pregnant yet. I'm kind of mourning the loss of the 2 under 2 plan that we had before I got laid off. Just super bummed right now, but my career is important to me and I feel like I (we) should wait to get pregnant until I'm a bit more established here.
Might be important context that I'm Canadian and would take a year off.
Blah.

I don't think you need to hold off cause you just started a job. By the time you push out the next one you would be there a year.

We're so up in the air about everything. I started a new job last month. A house that we were hoping to purchase fell through and my husband is on break from his job until September (when school starts). We're just moving along when I so badly want to just plan for the future, find a house, figure out if we'll have #2 ever.. ugh.
So I'm with ya.

@sslm: Waiting is hard! But as they say, if you wait for the perfect time, you'll never have a family! I think PPs have a good point that if you start trying now, by the time the baby arrives you'll have been at your job a year! Are you both ready, job aside? My DH isn't ready, so we're waiting until he is, but if he was ready I'd start ASAP. I say go for it!

I agree on going for it or at least maybe NTNP??? If it happens, yay!! if not, (hopefully) no sad feelings? As others said, by the time you get knocked up and deliver, you'd probably be there for a year!

@Smurfette: @Alivoo01: haha. I really want to just go for it but DH isn't on board. He's now saying maybe October we could start. I guess that's not that long to wait!
@MrsD2442: our first LO (14 months) just started sleeping through the night so my husband is hesitant to try until we enjoy that for a bit. I can totally see his point but it still sucks. Ha. I'm sorry you're in wait mode too!! It's rough!
