I had to get out of the house for a little bit, so I thought a pedi would be safe and close. LO is a month old today and I guess things haven't gone over so well! I left a bottle of pumped milk and I guess DH tried giving to LO--he said it pissed him off!! Ahh!

Haha! My LO is 2 months now and it's still hard for my DH when I leave them, which I've only done maybe 3-4 times for a couple hours max. Every time I come home DH looks at me like a deer in headlights and baby is inconsolable! He takes a bottle just fine but sometimes I have just fed him so i know its not that he was hungry. I think DH just doesnt know how to hold him and console him well. It's really sort of annoying because I really feel bad leaving at all.

I felt this way for at least a year, I felt like I'm the only human alive who understands her needs and could handle her temper! As guilty as I felt, it was important for DH to figure it out and form that bond with LO.

It gets easier. LO is 6.5 months and she still doesn't like the bottle at all. She will take enough to just get by (like 1oz at a time) and basically waits for me to get back to her.
