Congratulations. Just give yourself some time to process, it will be a big change I'm sure, but even if you are 6 weeks along, you will ideally have 34 more weeks to treasure with LO1 and get ready for LO2

Ahhh! Congrats! Guess you're going to have to modify some of those exercises on 30DS I totally get your feelings, I have a 7 month old and would feel the same way. But, when you're ready, let yourself feel the excitement--its totally possible to still be excited about each day with DS and your pregnancy.
FWIW..my mom had my sister and I 15 months apart and she said 'we' were the easiest of all the children.

Awww congrats!! Come join the September board? I have twins and I just love how they play together so well. I think it's great to have siblings so close in age. Heck, I'm going for 3 under 3!!

Mine are 19 months apart (now 3 and 18 months), even though it was "planned" I definitely had a moment of "what have I done?" when I saw the positive test! I worried the entire pregnancy about the impact on my first child, how the transition would be for him and if he had enough time to be our only. Most of all I worried about the time away from him in the hospital, he had never had a baby sitter and had never been away from me for more than a couple of hours. For all that worrying, he did GREAT and it was a very easy transition, probably because he was so young. The first year of "2 under 2" was definitely hard for me but overall I am really happy they are close together. Congratulations!

@knittylady: OMG congrats!! As another June mom, I really have no advice. I am sure you are feeling overwhelmed, but it'll all sink in soon. That is so amazing for you guys!
My sister and I are 11 months apart and I am so grateful that we are so close! I love it.

Aww breathe honey. I know you are freaked but you will be amazing and you will adore both of your babies. Wishing you as gentle a pregnancy as possible. Congratulations

Congratulations!
My boys are two years apart and I had those same fears. I was so worried about taking DS1's babyhood and only childhood away. It's definitely not the easiest thing I've ever done but we're surviving and DS1 loves his baby brother.

Thank you so much for your responses! While still shellshocked you're all helping me to be a little more optimistic.

@knittylady: Hopefully I'll be joining you in the next few months! As a random question, how did you know to test? You wouldn't believe how many times I've POAS in the last couple of months out of paranoia (i.e. before we share a bottle of wine, or something).
