Hope the idea is sinking in and getting exciting (or at least I hope it does soon!)... Congrats!
Ps: nothing to be embarrassed about, IMO.. If you get a few rude comments remember its just because there are tons of rude people in this world, not because you did anything wrong! I wish we could afford to have ours back to back!

Congratulations! I bet you will love having two kids close together!
And, um, since my period is late and we use the pull-out method... you are scaring me.

Congrats! My brother & I are 18 months apart and we loved it when we were younger! I had an in house best friend to play with all the time and I think it was easier on my mom because we did a lot of things at the same time- like potty training ect. Everything will work out!

@autumnlove: I will def be following your posts!
Thank you everyone. I am definitely excited with a whole lot of anxiety but I'm guessing that will get better once we reach the second trimester and its out in the open :-). All we can do is take it day by day. Also DH has helped with my feelings a lot. He didn't react the way I thought he might. He is basically ready to go with the flow :-).

@JustlikeHeaven: I cannot believe I missed this thread!!! I was in shock reading the whole thing... wow!!! Congratulations but I can only imagine the shock you felt... wow!!
How are you feeling now, three weeks later? Have you told your family?

@Coco Bee: Thank you :-). I have my first appointment tomorrow morning and we are excited.. although I feel like I STILL DON'T BELIEVE IT... until I see a little gummy bear hanging out in there!
Ive been dealing with a lot of emotions. Anxiety, excitement, major nerves. it depends on the day and I feel my feelings are probably normal.
I think I am about 8 weeks and so far not nearly as sick as I was with DD which is awesome! Just waaaaay more tired and I'm sure that has to do with DD's night awakenings and having her to look after which by the way she is SUPER ATTACHED to mommy right now!
We have told few family members and kind of just letting everyone spread the word for us! we get shocked expressions but smiles of course and lots of congratulations.
Im sure they think we are crazy because we really aren't sharing that this was a tiny oopsie and DD is just about 7 months!

@JustlikeHeaven: oh my gosh!!! it's just so insane. My son is 8 months and I could not imagine being two months pregnant right now!!
Are you getting a U/S tomorrow?! That will definitely help you be more excited I'm sure
awww that is one reason I would be upset about getting pregnant too - night wakings!!! I was sleeping SO much my first trimester I know that will be the hard part about when I do get pregnant - that's not much of an option anymore!!
