I had an ultrasound done almost a week ago. I know the top pic shows where I ovulated, but the other three pics I can’t seem to find the yolk sac. I know it’s not the best photo, but unfortunately I didn’t get to take my ultrasound home with me for some reason. Maybe because I didn’t ask for it? My dr said he saw the yolk sac, but I don’t see it on any of these photos...

I would try to trust your dr. I feel like even in my 8w ultrasound photos you can hardly see anything because they don’t use the best machines for those usually and everything is soooo small. Fingers crossed for you I know it’s a hard wait to get more answers!

I remember not seeing the yolk sac or something else in my early ultrasounds. Try to trust your doctor and not look into the ultrasounds with your untrained mind. I did that through my whole first pregnancy and was a wreck. Best of luck to you!

My earliest scan was 5+3 and all i saw was a black circle in the scanned area. I am now watching that black circle at her 1 year appt. Try not to worry or obsess

Someone once told me that doctors/ ultrasound technicians aren't taking pics when they are noticing things because they are carefully scrutinizing the screen and can't possibly take a picture. So I am sure your doctor saw it, just didn't capture a picture of it.

@JessieKoger: that is still super early to see it clearly. The earliest I could see in my ultrasounds was 7 weeks and it was with a transvaginal ultrasound
