We have a Chicco full size stroller, but we want to get a cheaper umbrella stroller to keep in DH's car. Does anyone have any recommendations?

We bought the First Years Ignite stroller to keep in my car. It's a little more expensive than most umbrella strollers, but seemed sturdier and more parent-friendly because the handles were taller.

Not quite an umbrella stroller, but much lighter than our Jeep stroller- I'm keeping an eye out for the best price on the Kolcraft Countours or a smaller Jeep (also made by Kolcraft). I ran into a mom at Sears last week who absolutely loves her Countours! I'm flying solo with C in May (YIKES!) and need something for the airports.

I love the G-Luxe! It's our only stroller and has been going strong for 2 years now.

We have the G-Luxe and love it! It's so easy to expand and collapse, and it's pretty light!

We have the G-Luxe... Great umbrella stroller, but not sure how much cheaper it is than your current one. My favorite feature is that it stands on it's own when folded. If it's too pricey, another option is the G-Lite. No recline, but cheaper and lighter, so if your baby doesn't nap long in strollers anyway, it's a good alternative.

Another vote for the G-luxe! Great umbrella stroller. The G-lite is also a great option (doesn't recline so it is even lighter). FYI - the G-luxe is the lightest reclining umbrella stroller on the market.

We have the G-Lite. It's super light! LO doesn't nap in that stroller, so reclining wasn't necessary for us.
