Which umbrella stroller do you have? What do you like about it? Dislike? If yours reclines, has that been a valuable feature that you've used with a baby older than 6 months?
We mostly baby wear, and we have a BOB that meets the majority of our stroller needs. I'm looking for something compact to use for errands as baby gets older.

Glad you posted this...I am on the hunt for a simple umbrella stroller I can use for airline travel and trips.
I am thinking of a simple Chicco Liteway or a Quinny.

@looch: those 2 are on my short list too. I'm nearly sold on the old version of the quinny zapp, but I'm worried that I'll dislike that it doesn't recline.

I am trying to be positive about the non recline on the Zapp too, I mean, my son hardly sleeps in the stroller and I don't expect him to be snoozing away while we're dashing through an airport or cruising around Disney, YKWIM?

I have a Quinny Zapp and I got it just for that reason. My car isn't that big to begin with (Prius C) and I'm not a hiker/jogger, I live in the city. I needed something that was compact and light. It's perfect!

I recently got an I'coo Turbo, which I love. It's practically drives itself (so smooth), it's lightweight, and has three reclining positions. LO likes to sit upright but when we go for walks and I recline it, she falls asleep

Is the zapp the stroller that can be folded into a backpack and brought on a plane? I can't seem to remember now and it's driving me nuts.

@rachiecakes: that, for me, is a huge plus, just have to convince my DH...he hates waiting around so it might convince him.

I have the First Year Jet, doesn't fully recline but that hasn't been an issue for us as we didn't intend for DD to sleep in it.

@looch: and honestly, the fact that it doesn't recline doesn't stop DS from snoozing in it! he's 6 months old so sitting up is really cool for him now, he likes to see everything, but he'll just turn his head to the side and sleep if he's tired, too.
I really love that with all this baby stuff, I still have some trunk space, too

@rachiecakes: Thanks for sharing your experience with the zapp. I drive a super compact car with very limited trunk space, and I love that the zapp fits in your Prius and that you like it so much!

I have a Maclaren Quest. It does recline, but we rarely used that, even when the baby was younger. I highly recommend it. It's light, easy to fold, and has stood up to near-daily use and being thrown in/out of the car as well as air travel very well.

We just have a simple babies r us brand one. I love it. I don't even fold it up when we stick it in the trunk because it's so tiny, so I can just pull it in and out of the car easily. We do have a bigger stroller for when I have to carry a lot of crap and she'll be eating on the go because I like the tray.

I have the UppaBaby G-Luxe. It reclines and is the lightest reclining US on the market. It weight 9lbs I think? SUPER light. I love the recline feature (Liv is almost 11 months old) and it folds up super small

I just ordered the Quinny Zapp in Mandarin from Albee Baby for $119.99 shipped. It's a discontinued model, but for our purposes it should do the trick.

I have the Britax B-Nimble and love it! You can even put an infant car seat on it if you needed to. They include a strap to do it. The recline is pretty good. My son's slept in that many times while we were out and about. Folds easily and has a strap so you can carry it on your shoulder. I also like it b/c it sits higher than most umbrella strollers and has a deeper seat.

We recently got a Maclaren Globetrotter (Mrs. Bee recommended it on the blog). So far I really love it. It's super light, has decent storage for an umbrella stroller, and we've already used the recline feature a ton. We just used it for air travel and it was great to have at the airport.
