My dd is 2 and potty trained so I bought her some 2t/3t undies and they are huge on her! Any tips on undies to fit a 23 lb girl?

I got 2T ones at Walmart that are pretty small - my 3 year old is 25lbs and they fit him ok. I got some 2T at the Gap that just fall right off him (which of course he insists on wearing).

Gap 2-3 fit my small toddler, but it was a certain style.

My LO trained just before 2 yo and we've found that old navy's undies in their smallest size (2T/3T) fit the best! The ones from children's place in the same size fit well too though don't seem quite as comfy.

DD trained before 2 and is now 28 lbs and the Old Navy 2T/3T still fall off of her (and bunch horribly under clothes).
Gerber makes some 18M "training pants" that fit well at first, but were a little too bulky once DD was pulling up her pants herself. The best fitting ones we have right now are some cheap 2T Minnie Mouse ones from Target (they shrink when you wash them). I also bought her some boys Minions briefs that fit even more snugly, but are less soft. The small sizes are hard to find!

The Disney brand ones you can buy at Target run small. Wash them in HOT water and dry to shrink a bit further.

@Raspberry: Thanks for this! I got B a pack of superhero ones this morning that look like they should fit great. And hopefully the lure of Batman will solve the problem of him only wanting to wear the Chase underpants.

My 23 pound 2 year old wears the gerber training pants or the 2t/3t character panties from Target. We washed them on hot and they shrank. Wash the character panties by themselves the first time or two, though. Some of the darker parts bled into our other laundry!

Awesome thanks for all the advice! I ordered some from h and m and will give target a try next. Dd isn't into any characters so flowers and animals are exciting right now. But omg she wants to change underwear 10 times a day and asks me too! Love the enthusiasm but oy!

Update: we've been using the 18 month gerber training pants (she doesn't need the extra absorbency but I got some from a friend) and just got some 1 1/2-2 year sized undies from H and M and they are SO MUCH better. Thanks for the advice all!

We used those slightly padded Gerber undies from 15 months+. At 2, we switched to some little size 2 undies I bought at Target. The boy shorts were cuter, but still a bit too big until she was 2.5.
