We call our ds boo, boo boo, booberry, etc. Idk how it came to be, but it just seemed to fit him. We've called him that since he was just a day or two old. He'll answer to that and his name now. I feel bad, but we can't help it.

We also call DS bubba and have since day one. He will refer to himself as bubba all of the time as it's easier for him to say that than his actual name at this point. But he definitely knows his name.

I call her chickadee and dh calls her chicken, haha. Or chickaboo, little miss, bugsy, boo boo, etc... Lots of nicknames!

My husband does this all the time! He loves to call out son "Bonk" then from that it became "Bonkers", "Bonkers Boy", John "Bonk" Jovi. And there are others too.we also call him Torbot but that's related to his name at least.

I call our girl "Mama". She calls me mama, so it's weird. Who knows!
