I had to buy a pregnancy test with my three kids in tow. The cashier said wow for your sake I hope it's negative. I said thank you but I don't need family planning advice from a teenager working as a cashier. Do I need to talk to your manager about customer service and what would be considered appropriate or inappropriate to say to a woman buying what could be sensitive personal items? He just put his head down and said no mam. I said I am an awesome mom and if I choose to raise another child it's my own business.

The morning I suspected I was pregnant (and was!), I ran to CVS to buy a pregnancy test. I usually don't wear my wedding rings at home and I forgot to put them on when I ran out the door. I purposely went to the self checkout because I don't like getting weird looks when I'm buying tests, but that day there was a woman employee watching the self checkout stations. For whatever reason she came to my register when I checking out, and she gave me a nasty look and said "You know, abstinence is the best protection." I almost fell over and really really wanted to punch her in the face!
