What do/did you do with opened packages of diapers that are too small for your LO?

I took ours to a donation center. I figured they could find someone who really needed them.

I save them to make diaper cakes for friends.

You could bring them to a women's shelter or soup kitchen.

I have given them to friends or thrown then in my car. If I'm in a pinch any diaper will do!

So far I just try to make it to the end of the package, I hate to waste any!

@prettylizy: I wanted to but the NB were getting sO small they were leaving marks on her skin!
I taped them up and put them back in the box to save for #2!

I have a friend due in June, so she's getting our NB diapers and anything else we have no use for any longer.

Depends on how many I had left - if not many then I donated them to the nursery at our church (amazes me how many parents will bring their LO's to church and not bring any diapers). If there were a lot then I put them into storage for #2 (only really had to do that once when she started leaking in size 3 overnight right after we opened a new box).

You might want to check and see if there is a diaper bank in your area.
Many underprivileged moms have a hard time getting a job because even though they get financial help for daycare, they have to provide disposable diapers in order for their baby to attend that daycare. Some moms can't afford the diapers (at least not before they get their first check from that new job) so they are stuck in an endless cycle.
There are diaper banks in most places that take donations and help provide diapers for these situations. Perhaps if you find one, you could start donating your leftovers as your baby moves up to the next size. -
If I have a friend that can use them I will give them to them, howver if not I will donate to the local shelter.
