Yeah, I agree with you. I think most of those are too far out there. Like, they might rise, but I don't see them being the next Mason or Zoe (names that are high on the list now that I had barely heard of growing up).

I'm really surprised that someone would name their child Nero. Is this a common Italian name? I guess it might be popular in Europe? It just has negative connotations for me, and it's not common in the US, so seeing that one on the list was a big surprise to me.

Ooh! I like the names Gray and Clover! I can see quite a few of them gaining popularity for a while, but others not so much.

I was totally going to name LMW Calla! Or, Caroline and call her Calla or Callie. The day I found out I was pregnant I had calla lillies on my desk at work and I thought "wouldn't Calla be a cute name for a girl?" Haha. And Caroline was our top pick when Wagon Jr. was born.

Calla was on my list, and Coralie is really cute too!

I've heard Gray a few times recently, and I'm sure Cato will be getting popular as it was a name in The Hunger Games.

I've heard Clover and Coralie for girls, Coralie more so but the rest of the names seem bizarre to me.

As for what I would use - definitely not Nero - he was a terrible Roman emperor! Same with Tiberius (not Roman but not a fondly known character in history)... or was that his brother.. either way.

I'm not a fan of any of the boy names... too "weird" for me.

For girls I think Coralie is beautiful, and I love Calla. Flora is a popular Spanish name but I wouldn't personally use it.

Cato reminds me of Kato Kaelin the infamous OJ witness!

I actually like some on the boy list - I think Roman sounding names are a good blend of nerdy and masculine. We talked about Cato and Cicero (not on the list, but similar). Maybe it's just the impact of 5 years of high school Latin.
