I'm worrying about this way too early (only 9w), but my husband and I can NOT come up with a boy name! For some reason this is seriously my biggest worry, especially since we're planning to go Team Green so we *have* to have a name ready. We've had a girl name for a long time, plus backups, but nothing for boys. We've discussed baby names since we were dating, and occasionally decided we liked one, but we always backed out after a while. We don't like "normal" names (we aren't telling our girl name, but my favorite backup is Lilliana or Daenerys Oswin), and cannot for the life of us find a boy name that's unusual without being bizarre that we can agree on. It's especially hard because we "have" to use the middle name Ray because of a family tradition of his (we both dislike having to use it, but he won't budge).

Some ideas we've tossed around are Tyrion, Leonidas (we would do it if it weren't for 300), Leoben, Helo, Anakin (okay, that one's all me), Hamish, and Alistair. I also love the nickname Alfie but can't think of a good name (except maybe Alistair) to use it with.

So anyone have suggestions?

(Also, as some of you may have picked up on, we're fairly nerdy. Anything from Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, etc are especially good. Also anything Scottish/Gaelic. Hamish is Gaelic for James, and Alistair is Alexander.)

Edit- Oh, and Doctor Who! Our girl middle name is directly from it, and we're calling the baby Stormy (Stormageddon) until s/he's born, so how could I have forgotten!
