If you own the UppaBaby Vista what infant car seat did you end up going with? I think we're going to go for the Chicco KeyFit 30 but I'm interested to see what other people have done and if you're happy with your choice.

We have a Graco Snugride 35, which I totally regret because it's really heavy. I was going to downgrade to a Snugride 22 but I read all the differences in features and decided to just stick it out with the 35 and hope for a less heavy baby this time I've seen a LOT of vistas with keyfits though!!

We had the Graco Snugride. I never, ever used the adapter though, and rarely took Liv in and out of the car in it. She HATES the car seat (and even hates her Britax Advocate we have now...shoot me.) Sorry Im not much help

@LivsMama: So did you use the bassinet with the stroller when she was an infant?

We have the peg perego primo viaggio but we got it as a hand-me-down from a family member. We probably would have purchased the graco snuggled if we needed to.

We don't have an infant carseat. We have skipped that and gone straight for a combi cocorro convertible. I'm planning to just use the bassinet. NYC, so makes sense for us. I really hope it works out.

We have a graco snugride and like livsmama, we have not used the adaptor. Granted, we've only used the stroller a handful of times, but when we have, we've needed it to fold up (since we were flying). DD is still a little nugget (7 weeks and 9 pounds) but suprisingly, she fit perfect in the regular seat when we put in the snuzzler (we also tilted the seat back and lifted up the little foot rest thing)

I have no advice, but just want to say this is a great question I already bought the Uppa Baby Vista off zulily and now I just registered for the keyfit. Hoping it works out!

@mrs. wagon: that is a great piece of advice. we registered for the graco snugride too, but i didn't realize it was so heavy! hmm. will have to look into some other options.

We have the peg perego primo viaggio too (got it at a good discounted price -- cheaper than the chicco key fit, which was our runner up). I LOVE our uppababy...the only thing is sometimes I feel like it requires more effort to unfold...like it isn't stable. Anyone else feel the same way?

@enjollah: I dont have that issue, I can unfold it with one hand now. Unstable how? Their CS department is incredible. Try reaching out to them to ask if what you are experiencing is normal. They got back to me immediately with one of my issues

@LivsMama: wow with one hand? So I know you have to unlatch the side right? Then I have to stabilize with my foot and one hand while pulling/raising the handle part. But even with the brake on, it sometimes rolls and doesn't stay put... Does this make sense?
pear / 1728 posts
@enjollah: yep, one hand. Ok so what I do is stand it up or lay it flat, pinch it enough to release the latch, then open it past the latch. Then I slide my hand up to the handlebar and pick it up to open it. I have it down pat now lol.
I think I know exactly what you are saying. Heres my thought - The brakes only lock the rear wheels on the UBV (and on almost all strollers.) So even with the brakes on, the front wheels will roll. Maybe when you are opening it, you are shifting some weight to the front wheels, which is making it roll??
