Do you use both of these? How do you decide which to use?

We use Upromise. I don't know that much about Ebates but I think the main difference is that with UPromise the reward goes directly into a 529. With Ebates, I think you just get the cash....but again, I only briefly looked into Ebates a while ago. We love having Upromise...it's been really easy to start saving for DD's college. And when I want to buy something expensive, I rationalize by saying that 10% will go into DD's college fund so it's worth it

I use ebates. I've gotten one check so far and just began in October. Love it!

Love UPromise! Don't know anything about Ebates.
With normal spending, we have already saved several hundred dollars towards college in two years. It definitely won't pay for everything, but every little bit helps, especially when we remove the temptation of spending it by locking it into a high yield savings account.

I never used to make anything with Upromise, so I gave up. Ebates has been great and I've gotten a couple of checks from them so far. For the record, though, they aren't the same time of company.

I know, I just meant for the online shopping option, since you can only use one!

I use both, but will check both sites before I buy. Sometimes one site will have a higher percentage money back.

I use ebates. Never looked into UPromise so I didn't know they had an online shopping option.

If Upromise has it, I use that (because we also have a card and get double rewards). If not, I use ebates.

I haven't had much luck with UPromise, though I love the idea. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, I don't know.

I just signed us up for Upromise so I'm hoping I remember to use it, cuz goodness knows I do a lot of online shopping! I like that they have a toolbar that helps to remind you if you're shopping at one of their participating websites!
