We don't...but I just got a card from wine.com in the mail for $30 off $100. SPRING30 is the code.

We don't either. But my landlord just sent us two bottles of their favorite wine from a winery in Sonoma. It's called Woodenhead. It was delicious!!

I have Club W and like it! But are you looking for a one time thing or a monthly? I get 3 bottles per month for about $50 (that is including tax and delivery. The bottles are $13 each, and I believe that is a discounted price because of the club. So not super high end but not crap either)
There is a nice wine store near us (I think it's pretty well known) called Sherry-Lehman. I know they have an online store and deliver/ship. But also certain states don't allow wine to be delivered so do some research first. Actually if you try to ship to them I believe the vendor will tell you if you're not allowed.

@SweetiePie: I'm looking for a one time gift. Thanks for the tip about possible delivery issues, I didn't even think about that!

@lamariniere: no problem! I know PA for example has some weird rules. I think some wine clubs are allowed but not all. I tried to ship a one time gift and they wouldn't allow it. My mom tried to explain it to me once but I don't remember the exact details.
Since it's one time, sherry Lehman might be a good one for you then. Tons and tons of selection. Some very high end and some normal people stuff too And everything in between.
And since it's a one location brick and mortar store (though they have a warehouse) I feel like the customer service is great. You could call them and tell them what your requirements are and they'll pick something for you.
Anyway, might not be what you're looking for but felt like sharing.

We have ordered through Hartwood and Oak, via Groupon. They have Groupons all the time, and so far, we've been impressed with their reds. We don't like sweet or smoky reds, and so far none they've sent us have been. You order a case at a time (mixed case), no additional commitment

Yes, check to see if shipping is allowed to the state. And our wine deliveries require the signature of someone 21 and over (legal age to drink) so I always ship to my husband's office since we're not always home.
I normally search for a wine that I like and order from the cheapest place!

@lamariniere: my favorite winery is Sokol Blosser. Their sparkling Ebeloution is awesome and they direct ship. Already mentioned- you can not ship wines to some states and do it soon. It's bad for the integrity of the wine to be too hot or cold so many shippers put pauses on shipping in winter and summer- spring and fall are the best times to ship.

from the wineries websites probably not the best answer but if I order wine I know exactly what I want.
