This article illustrates growing income inequality in the US.
I wonder if anyone in the middle ever truly feels comfortable. I'd imagine many middle income people are wage earners therefore have to pay significant taxes, whereas some upper income people live off of investments or can show losses through their owned businesses. Middle income people often do not qualify for certain income based government subsidies.
**We all know class has nothing to do with income!
ETA: from the article
" For Pew, middle class Americans live in households earning between two-thirds to two times the nation's median income. In 2014, that ranged from $41,900 to $125,600 for a three-person household."
Do you feel the impact of a shrinking middle income/ growing income inequality?
