When I was a kid, I wasn't allowed to use slang at home. It used to really irritate my dad when we didn't speak properly. Now that I'm a teacher and hear all the slang amongst my students, I think I will be like my dad and not allow it in the house.

Hurmm. We use proper English, but we also use words you can find on Urban Dictionary. HAHA. Definitely going to stop in a bit though.
Our kids will speak intelligently. I can't stand when kids text/type

@chopsuey119: a guy I talked to for a little while would text like that, it would drive me nuts. He was a rabbi's son that I met on jdate and he stood me up.... should have known he wasn't for me by the way he talked!
We don't really use slang. I don't think I care if lo does though.
