1-3 Ruby, Scarlett, Clementine- both our girls are redheads so I didn't want to use a name that was a "red/ orange word". I especially love Scarlett since I'm a big Gone With the Wind fan.

4. Camilla- we both like it but it wasn't the hop of the list

5. Helena- I love, DH vetoed

1. Henry- this was our boy name but we are an all girl family. Will probably use for a dog!

2. Jasper- another "red" name

3. John Jay- after both our dads, but hate the nickname JJ

4. Harry- DH vetoed since he knows the only reason I like it is HP

5. George- DH thinks it sounds like a Grandpa name

Girls: Saoirse (too out there for DH), Juniper (DH originally liked it till someone told him it was "hipster" 🙄), Lucy (I love it for a little girl but had a dog named Lucy!), Helene (DH's only serious ex before me was Helen.)

Boys: Callum (DH just doesn't like it), Archie (again a DH veto).

DD and my names both end in "on" even though we both go by nicknames. But the phonics of our names are exactly the same- did not realize until after she was born so no names that end in "son" "on" or "n" which is surprisingly a lot.

Right now our boy name is Booker and girl name is Juniper. But no TTC till next year.

We are 100% done.

@IRunForFun: I love saoirse too but I totally share that apprehension of it being too out there- and knowing many people wouldn't know the correct pronunciation. We seriously considered Lachlan, but ultimately couldn't do it.

Girls: Thea (our second son would have been Thea if he was a girl), Evangeline (our first would have been Evangeline if he was a girl lol), Adelaide - love it!

Boys: Finn _our second was sooo close to being Finn! Beckett - another in-the-hospital contender for our second. Asher- our first would have been Asher but it was becoming so common. Hayes so cute! I love it. Just didn't make the cut.

@2PeasinaPod: both DH and I looooved Helena for our first but he's a boy and then my parents ruined it for us. Boo such a pretty name and I've never met anyone with it!

@bubblegum: We are all done! Our number one girl name was Camille. We also liked Ava and Claudia. Our alternate boy names were August (Gus), Teddy, Duncan, and William (Liam).
DS is Cooper.

I think there should be a thread where we share our current child's (rens') names!

Names we won't be using that I love: Clementine, Elizabeth, Michael, James, Emily, Victoria, Rosemary, Henry, James, Charlie.

Girls: (There are so many!) Elody, Emery, Joelle, Evalyn, Aelynn

Boys: Kylan, I would love to use this yet, just have to get DH on board for another - and on board with the name, lol

1. Celia (DH thinks it sounds like cilia, and therefore doesn't like it).
2. Sophie (This is basically my favorite name of all time, but is SO TRENDY).
